House Committee on COVID Requests Release of Unredacted Docs Hinting at China Lab Leak Origin, Cover-Up

On Wednesday, the House of Representatives Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic took to X/Twitter to present their demand for unredacted documents hinting that the COVID-19 virus may have had its origin in a leak from a Chinese virology lab.

Here's the interesting piece from the letter, directed at the State Department under Antony Blinken:

Pursuant to that letter, the Department recently produced classified documents to the Select Subcommittee that were previously released in an unclassified and highly redacted Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) production to U.S. Right to Know. These documents contain highly pertinent information that credibly suggestsL
1) COVID-19 originated from a lab-related accident in Wuhan, China
2) The CCP acted to prevent, and in fact obstructed, a fulsome investigation into these matters; and
3) A seamless relationship between the WIV (Wuhan Institute of Virology) and the Chinese People's Liberation Army.
The American people deserve to see the information that is hidden under these redactions.

If the statement that "the American people deserve to see the information that is hidden..." isn't the understatement of the decade, it will do until a better one comes along.

The COVID-19 virus outbreak and the resulting catastrophic overreaction, not only by the United States government but by almost every nation on the globe, has done inestimable damage. The economic repercussions are still felt today, over three years after the emergency supposedly ended. At every step of the way, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and elements within our own federal government have sought to delay, deny, or obfuscate any meaningful investigation into the source of the virus and how it was released into the global population.

Recently, the mastermind of the COVID-19 lockdowns in the United States, Dr. Anthony Fauci, admitted in testimony to Congress that the "six-foot social distancing rule" was made up out of whole cloth, with no grounding in any scientific data whatsoever.

Yes, the American people deserve to see this information; after all, we paid for it. Of particular interest, given China's increasing bellicosity in recent months, would be the alleged links between the Wuhan Virology Laboratory and the Chinese People's Liberation Army; the possibilities there are chilling.
