The war will be fought by Israel from defensive positions, which is what Israel’s military and culture are ideally suited for. The attacks will be made by forces inferior in every way except numbers, and these forces will be out of their hit and run/ambush element, with poor tactics and communication leading them to complete disaster.

Israel knows exactly what is coming, because their emotion-driven enemies have stupidly telegraphed everything. No doubt Israeli citizens have drilled for this contingency many times, and the IDF has war-gamed it ad infinitum.

The outcome will be many dead Jews, many, many more dead muslims, and no change in the borders, unless Israel reacquires Gaza. The UN and the Final Solution Press Brigade will screech for weeks afterward about the murderous Nazi Zionist Entity, and Pallywood will churn out terabytes of fauxtography and bad acting in post battle videos.

And Obama will make some asinine statement condemning Israel for lack of restraint.

Of course, all of this assumes that Hamas and Fatah can keep from ripping each other to shreds within the confines of their shotgun remarriage.

I hope they use their dolphin class submarines to nuke strategic targets and send the mullahs and the IRGC back to the stone age.

to the Med won’t be like the one earlier this year, especially if the Iranians happen to be there when things go bad for Assad, If that catalyzes the situation, those subs may have more tactical targets to deal with first.

By saying in his speech that Israel has the right to defend itself “by itself” Obama has already green-lit attacks on Israel by sending the not-so-subtle message that the US of Obama does not perceive the need to assist in military defense of Israel. It is only a matter of time.
