The Fanciful Political Cross Dressing of Charlie Crist

image

As the GOP head to Florida, the literal poster boy for trial lawyers in Florida is endorsing Obama. It is not a surprise. Charlie Crist was Barack Obama’s favorite Republican for the longest time. They stood shoulder to shoulder in support of the stimulus.

RedState played a great role in helping beat Charlie Crist. Marco Rubio is such an improvement

But I do hope Charlie Crist gets a speaking role at the Democratic National Convention. They could use a refreshing voice such as Crist’s.

See, Charlie Crist has long maintained Todd Akin’s abortion position — no exceptions except life of the mother. Given the Democrats’ extremist “abortion on demand” position, Crist would be a refreshing recalibration for them.

Crist also has an A+ rating from the National Rifle Association. After a month of tragic shootings around the country, I’m sure the Democrats will do all they can to highlight their gun control agenda. Having someone on their platform who actually opposes further gun regulations would offer a more diverse opinion,

Crist has also been a long time opponent of same sex unions. As the Democrats move further and further out of the mainstream on that issue, Charlie Crist could be a great tool for grounding the convention in reality — a reality where no American state has seen its citizens support gay marriage.

Or, it could be that Charlie Crist really is a political cross dresser willing to say or do anything to advance his own agenda. Maybe he really is willing to abandon decades of his convictions to be back in the lime light. He did, after all, leave the GOP to become an independent when polls showed that was a best shot at election. He even continued to say he disagreed with Barack Obama on just about everything.

If he is abandoning decades of convention just to get back in politics, well then he’ll fit right in.

Bill, are they working on a ‘links’ column, for Moe, Steve, Boo-Boo Kitty and similar? Thanks for any response, at any time.

No surprise, really. After Crist became unemployed due Marco Rubio thumping him in the last election, fellow liberal John Morgan of the ambulance chasing law firm Morgan & Morgan, gave him a job. Morgan is an Obama kool-aid drinker so it stands to reason that one of his employees, one Charlie Crist, would toe the company line and come out for Obama. I’m just wondering if Crist got a bonus from the boss for doing so.

I would say that Crist is a snake, but snakes aren’t as slimy as he is.

Crist fell in voters eyes in 2010 and he did not see his fall coming. He has been reeling ever since he lost to upstart Rubio now Senator Rubio a conservative. Crist is an Indep in name only. By now he is a Democrat.

Charlie Christ is a stoog of the Morgan and Morgan law firm. They have began running an ad touting John Morgan being a AFLCIO member. All this is in prepertation for Morgan to run for office.

If you’re referring to the #RSRH thing, yes…it’s there. Scroll about halfway down the front page and you’ll see a box with the title “Twitter Commentary”. That’s working OK, as far as I know.

I would put McCain on the traitor side with Christ and not the fence-sitter side.

I didn’t know Morgan hired him. Makes sense though the biggest crook of a lawyer in central Fl hiring the biggest fraud of a politician.

  • arthurjake

The thought of that makes me sick. I have had to see his billboards and signs most of my life. The guy has to be the worst ambulance chaser in central Fl. Figures he would be an Obama supporter. Law firms like his are one of the reasons why people can not afford decent health care. Bogus lawsuits are the cause of malpractice insurance being ungodly high. If Obama really wanted an affordable healthcare act he would have passed a much smaller law making it harder for boneheads like Morgan to run there scams.

Okay: we will see what happens!

My goodness…WHAT A FACELIFT, RedState…I guess the profiles are gone. Anyway…had some association (not political) with Crist’s campaign manager when he was AG…this guy had LOT OF SKELETONS in the closet….lots of them. Campaign funds were missing according to this guy. Don’t remember the name…it was so long ago…but the campaign manager for Crist said it … and in front of lots of people.

Having grown up and attended high school with Crist I can tell you that he has always been an opportunist. He’s not worth trusting as he has no principles other than trying to figure out which way the wind is blowing. He’s cut from the same political cloth as Obama.
