Romney to inspect Hurricane Isaac storm damage

After accepting the Republican nomination with a terrific speech Thursday night, former Governor Mitt Romney is flying to the New Orleans area Friday to inspect storm damage caused by Hurricane Isaac.

Romney will meet with Gov. Bobby Jindal and first responders and thank them for their work and see areas impacted by the storm. Romney found it important enough to make such a visit that he is skipping a previously scheduled rally with his vice-presidential running mate Paul Ryan in the battleground state of Virginia this afternoon.

Romney’s presidential-like storm damage inspection stands in sharp contrast to President Obama, who has been too busy flying around the country conducting campaign rallies in Iowa, Colorado and Virginia and has not even announced any plans to visit the storm ravaged area.

Convention Over, campaign now begins in earnest. Romney/Ryan- take off the gloves and get tough. The future of our Country depends on it. Make Mr. Obama the “Previous President”; PP for those of you reading challenged folks in Rio Linda.

Hope they use that “empty chair” in upcoming TV ads. That chair says it all.

Yes, and it also reflects well on Romney.

Personnel is policy, and this says Romney isn’t afraid to delegate and isn’t afraid to pick competent people.

Compare this to Obama and Bidenopolis*…

And now you can imagine the discussions behind the scenes:
    - How long did he stay on the ground? I need to be there at least 30 minutes longer.
    - Who was he photographed with? Jindal? Okay, make sure Landrieu is there too, and even Vitter if possible.
    - What else did Romney do while he was there that I need to top?
    - What can we criticize other than his visit was political and mine is not? Did he meet with any black victims?
    - etc.
