I have been a voter since Ronald Reagan ran for president. Unfortunately, I have yet to meet a Democrat, or even an Independent who votes for Democrats, who was informed.

But I’m sure my luck is going to change any day now . . .tick tock.

Most of the Dems I’ve known, and those who surrounded me in the academic world, (including myself as an undergrad ::shudder::) are completely uninformed of the founders, our revolutionary years, our First Principles, and have never read or seen the Constitution or the Declaration of independence.

We are now bringing up a new generation of American kids, many immigrant kids, who are not even being taught U.S. history. Their minds contain none of the basic furnishings which help differentiate our country from all other nations, with its rights entrenched in the people rather than coming from government.

These kids are going to grow up in the impoverishment and despair of the Obama years, and begin to wonder exactly ~why~ America is exceptional, One of the goals of any Republican Administration should be bringing a firm grounding in history and citizenship back to our schools.
