Welcome Rush

Big changes are coming to my home base for radio, WSB in Atlanta. I started out in 2011 going from 9 to midnight. Within a month I moved up to 7 to 10. Then I moved to 6 to 9. When Adam Goldfein moved over to weeknights, my show went 6 to 8. Well, starting next week, I’m going to fill up evening drive time in Atlanta from 5pm to 7pm. So Sean Hannity will run 3pm to 5pm and then his last hour will air 7pm to 8pm.

Even cooler, Rush Limbaugh is moving over to WSB from WGST in Atlanta. WSB is the most listened to talk station in the country and Rush is the most listened to talk show in the country, so it is a natural fit. I couldn’t be more excited to have him on the same station I’m on.

Now I need to relaunch my “let me sit behind the golden EIB microphone” campaign. Heh.

Welcome to WSB Rush! So glad to have you with me.

Until Monday, I’ll still be 6 to 8. You can listen live tonight on the WSB live stream and call in at 1-800-WSB-TALK.

750 am and 95.5 fm. During one of Dupree’s guest host stints he said that the main problem in Washington is the refusal of both sides to compromise. ’nuff said.

Like chocolate and peanut butter. A synergistic combination.

Goldfein is a jack of all subjects, master of none (except car buying)!

A welcome change! But do you want to understand these things better? Rush is just the beginning – please watch The Project on Glenbeck.com. Things are not as nice as ou might believe.

WSB is a 50,000 watt “clear channel” class A radio station, on the air 24/7/365, with a non-directional signal. In the evening it can be heard clearly as far as 1500 miles from Atlanta. WGST is a class C regional station with 50,000 watts of power from sun-up to sun-down and then must cut its power to 1,000 watts. In the evening it has a directional signal which eliminates transmissions to the north-east.
