Joe Biden Changes Sides. Campaigns For Mitt Romney

In an unexpected turn of events today, Joe Biden, changed sides and decided to campaign for Mitt Romney. At a campaign rally in Charlotte, North Carolina, Biden announced:

“This is deadly earnest. How they can justify … raising taxes on the middle class that has been buried the last four years? How in the Lord’s name can they justify raising their taxes and these tax cuts?”

He’s exactly right. As we noted over the weekend, the particularly deadly version of cargo cult economics (here | here | here) practiced by this regime has devastated the American middle class and ushered in economic stagnation and probably a “lost decade” for American productivity and progress.

It is utterly insane that Joe Biden, America’s Rain Man, could work himself into a froth blaming Mitt Romney for something this regime has accomplished single-handedly and in record time.

    Biden says or does something completely idiotic on the campaign trail approximately once every 10 days. A couple of weeks ago, a middle-aged biker chick sat on Uncle Joe’s lap for a photo op, to the obvious chagrin of her male companions. Prior to that, he addressed himself to a group of Greek men in a restaurant as “Joe Bidenopoulos,” gave a warning a 70% black audience “they’re gonna put ya’ll back in chains,” and my personal favorite, his national security proclamation: “and believe me, the president has a big stick.” Memorializing someone’s live mother, encouraging a paralyzed man to stand up for the crowd, his multiple slurs of the indian community, and his utter amazement that a black politician could be articulate, well spoken and clean. Beauties, one and all. I’m going to enjoy watching Ryan destroy him in the VP debate, but I will truly miss him. No one personifies the ridiculousness of the liberal mentality better than ‘Ol Joe.

    If the Republicans won’t agree to increasing taxes on the wealthy, Harry Reid won’t permit the Senate to consider extension of the Bush tax cuts. Thus the Democrats propose to punish Republican refusal to raise taxes on anybody by raising taxes on everybody. In the sick minds of these scoundrels, that makes the Republicans responsible for the tax increase. In this logic, failure to submit to blackmail makes the victim responsible for the damage the blackmailer then inflicts.

    Democrats respond to Republicans’ refusal to raise taxes on anybody by raising taxes on everybody.

    The sad truth is the people he was talking to believe those lies just as they believe that Republicans were responsible for the Jim Crow laws. You can’t fix stupid. After all, “Stupid is as stupid does”!

    Brings up an age old question: “When did you stop beating your wife?” Or this statement: “I’m not going to accuse you of . . .” It’s all double talk. It leaves some gullible people believing something that didn’t happen or isn’t true did happen or is true. Democrats are masters at such subterfuge.
