Obama Campaign Uses Bigotry In A Push Poll

In an ever growing sign that panic and flopsweat are setting in, the Obama campaign has been nailed using religious bigotry in a Ohio push poll.

As reported in US News & World Report, the left wing and oxymoronic group “Catholics for Obama” was caught in the act of using Mitt Romney’s religion as a cudgel:

On Wednesday Hudson also revealed that a group calling itself Catholics for Obama had been making push poll phone calls in support of the president’s re-election bid. Among the questions being asked, he said, was “How can you support a ‘Mormon’ who does not believe in Jesus Christ?”

The phone banker making the call, which in this case went to a woman [Deal Hudson, the president of the Pennsylvania Catholics Network] identifies as “the head of a pro-life committee at a parish I know” reportedly also asserted that “President Obama did not support abortion” and that Planned Parenthood “helps children get healthcare and prenatal care and does not promote abortion.” In fact, the group is one of the nation’s largest abortion providers.

One has gotten use to these Catholycs, lying about Church doctrine in order to give cover to a morally noxious regime. That they would use a push poll based on religious bigotry exceeds even the very low standards they have set for themselves. Regardless of one’s theology or lack of it, this should be considered wrong by everyone.

    This is another form of racism, but religious racism. Bigotry and racism are very close to the same thing. I am a Catholic and tried to convince cousins over 70 in 2008 that Obama actively promoted infanticide in Chicago. No one believed me, they asked me to show them on non republican television! They aren’t the brightest group here in MA.

    Hey people I am a leftist. Also a catholic. But this is shocking bigotry from the obama team, the liberals are illiberal, I do believe in economic socialism but also agree with pulling your self up by the boot straps. I am firmly against the death penalty and firmly against abortion and gay marriage (civil partnerships are ok but lets not call a fish a donkey!) I am against all war except a just war, iraq was not a just war Afghanistan was but risks becoming not worth the blood shed on both sides. Remember this muslim moderates can be our allies because they share our social conservatism without the negative hating women part. But that does not mean we should fail to condem the killing of christians by the extremists as the obama admin and marxist press continually do. They want religious war so they can usher in secularism, let all the religions bat that notion out of the park. IF one wants to know of a socialist who has stuck to good, moral sexual and pro life policies one only need look at HUGO chavez, they are a rare breed but latin america has a lot of them. Catholics are naturally left wing but we are also naturally anti marxism and especially that most extreme variety, fabian socialism which is even more anti-clerical than was marx (and less pro the poor than was marx). Its not communists you are ran by but dreadful fabian socialists, communists would be a relative improvement! Socialism needs to stop supporting abortion and a culture of death and pornography because the last time I looked these things do nothing to empower people and every thing to destroy society. Us economically left and socially conservative people need a new term, I rather like the idea “one nation socialism” although its still too collectivist for my liking I believe no man is an island and I believe we are all interconnected, but that being interconnected is NOT the same as agreeing with each other on every issue and that the state does NOT have the power to tell churches what we think of as marriage, also it should be left to the private sector to perform abortion, if a person is so passionate about something like abortion they should not be fleecing the tax payer
