SECRET ROMNEY CHEAT SHEET REVEALED! MUST CREDIT REDSTATE!

I will admit, when I first saw this superficially insipidly stupid report ‘accusing’ Mitt Romney of being able to fit everything he needed to gut Barack Obama like a fish in Wednesday’s debate on a single sheet of paper (a so-called “cheat sheet”), my first thought was Wow. That’s incredibly insulting… to Barack Obama; surely you’d need at least an eight-page chapbook. But, once I saw this… well. Guess it maybe wasn’t a handkerchief* after all?

I’m convinced; how about you?

Moe Lane (crosspost)

PS: I’ve asked the Romney campaign for comment; I’ll let you know what they say in response.

*Which, by the way, even Reuters admitted was in the video. Dear God but these people don’t like to admit that they got hornswoggled by Obama, huh?

That was a very concise list! It’s pretty much what went down.

Handkerchief my ass David – I’m a huge fan of your work! I wanted to make sure you were aware of this video – looks very suspect to me – have you seen it??? https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=GQZ5_qdHLV8

  • barleycorn

I can’t speak to the relative hankieness of your ass but the YouTube video you linked to shows what appears to me to be a folded up handkerchief. Notice that it flops around as it falls from his hand to the lectern. A piece of paper wouldn’t have enough mass to be distorted by gravity in that manner. A folded cloth hankie does.

Mitt always takes out a piece of paper and briefly writes the word: Dad on it, to remind him of his commitment to his father to do his best. I guess that was the cheat sheet the talking heads were referring to. This information came from Mitt’s wife Ann who explained Mitt always does that before a debate. He takes a single piece of paper out, pulls out a pen and writes DAD on the page. I watched Mitt do this exact thing at the beginning of the debate. The complainers are full of it

  • keepcoolwithcoolidge

It seems they found video “evidence” on this mythical, non-handkerchief cheat sheet.

I think a lot of people owe Clint Eastwood an apology, that chair would have done better in the debate. Scratch that, Clint Eastwood owes that chair an apology.

WOW!, Let’s look at Obama’s …Pre-election (with in 33 days of voters balloting) ACCOMPLISHMENTS….
UNEMPLOYMENT REDUCED (over-night), but it took 39 months to do it…..”AND a HUGE NEW GOVERNMENT HIRING SPREE”…While Obama is telling Defence Contractors…”DON’T Give out those PINK SLIPS until AFTER the ELECTION….AND THE SPECIAL “”COOPERATION”"”, that is pending , from Obama’s Muslim Friend in the Iranian Capital. …Oil PRICES going DOWN,…While American FUEL PRICES are GOING UP ?????…Golly…Obama has all his Friends (mostly America’s Enemies), working as hard as they can to MANIPULATE and BUFFER Obama to CON… SOME THOUGHTLESS DEMOCRATES to VOTE for Obama’s FAILED LEADESHIP…except at the LAST MOMENT…before they can find out the truth of Obama’s endless LIES and DECEIT.
All of our still FREE AMERICAN VOTERS should REMEMBER…OBAMA began his wunderlust Government Destruction…When he gave a wide open path for the Democratic Congress to take over our health, before creating Rules of Destruction for our Small Businesses, then after the Voters changed the Leadership of the U.S. House of Representatives…the STILL DEMOCRATICALLY CONTROLLED U.S.Senate, FAILED TO ACT and RESPOND to THE NATIONS NEEDS as CLEARLY and RESPONSIBLY provided by the USHOR’s…..ETC,ETC,ETC,
SIMPLE SOLUTION TO THE OBAMA…VOTE HIM OUT OF OFFICE and LET HIM RETURN TO HIS”OTHER WORLD”..in CHICAGO…or Enjoy the 350,000 dollar home his other friends bought for him in Hawaii. Better CHECK and get the Keys to the WHITE HOUSE MENS ROOM from OBAMA first..and make sure he didn’t make a personal copy and hide the key in his shoes…HE WILL PROBABLY ENJOY A SLOW FIRM TOUCHING PAT SEARCH…so be careful.

I’m not saying he did, but … does it REALLY matter if he did have a sheet of notes? Personally, I’d take that as Romney was PREPARED for the debate. Definitely a stark contrast to Mr. “Debate Prep Is Too Much Work”.

  • 6eorge Jetson

Obama’s debate performance is all the fault of George Bush

  • JoshINHB

Obama’s notes from the debate (why he kept looking down) just leaked.

    http://www.collegehumor.com/article/6831617/obamas-debate-notepad

  • clowngirl

Democrats had it right for a week before the debate: they kept saying Romney is an excellent debater and he came in extremely well prepared, Obama is just ok. For once they told the truth – but now have stopped saying it now that it’s undeniably the truth.

(and when mediocre faces off against terrific, mediocre looks terrible.

You know how Obama hasn’t generally felt the need to attend his intelligence briefings- he just (supposedly) looks at the bullet points? I’m halfway seriously starting to wonder if Obama’s ever read or been briefed on Romney’s actual positions or if he just reads the TelePrompTer and figures that’s enough.

The narrative that has emerged lately from the Obama Administration /Obama friendly media is rather bizarre.
First the administration spoke (apparently derisively) about how much time Romney spent preparing and acted like Obama had barely cracked a book. (though reportedly they played down his actual preparation. Then today politico ran a story saying Obama’s performance is dependent on mood- and quoted someone as saying Obama was never really motivated unless he’s on the edge of destruction.

AND THEY SEEMED TO REGARD ALL THIS AS A GOOD THING!!!

Personally, the LAST thing I want is a President who is only motivated if things are falling apart. Actually, I wouldn’t hire someone like that to walk my dog.

And if I were a Democrat, I’d be really ticked if my candidate decided to go up against a guy who’d survived 20 something debates against Newt Gingrich* armed with nothing but a couple straw man arguments and a bunch of whining.

The left are desperate, even across the Atlantic.

  • rkinroanoke

Clowngirl – there is a lot of truth in what you say. Where exactly did O get this reputation as a great debater? In the 08 primaries against Hillary and Edwards and that great intellect Biden? How about in the general against that great persuader, McCain? Who exactly did he “beat” in a debate. He won his State Assy seat and Senate seat through chicanery, not by espousing better positions.
His reputation as an orator is due to his ability to read a speech. When he is off telepromter, he is nearly as gaffe prone and inept as dear uncle Joe.
Mitt was tested by some serious people. O has never been tested or challenged.
That said the next format works for him. Recall the townhall with McCain. He will repeat the question, then say we have to do three things: 1st- make point, 2nd-make same point with different words, and finally, reiterate point one. Thus making it seem to some that he has articulated some great positions with significant depth.
Watch in a week, and if he does this, remember you saw it here first.

  • commonsenseobserver

McCain, objectively, may actually have tied with Obama in the last debate…

  • Ausonius

“I saw Romney read out his whole debate from a sheet of paper which he
later was trying to stuff into his Coat pocket – his Coat didn’t have
any – so he gave it to one of his sons to stuff in his own pocket.

His lies were being read from a piece of paper, because, even Mitt Romney cannot lie that well.

If he didn’t have the paper how is he to lie in a way that they don’t Contradict each other?”

This absurdity was from a commenter on a NY TImes article, where similar dumb and deluded things can be found.

    See:

If Barack Obama had any sense of humor, he’d just take Greta Van Susteran’s advise and say “It wasn’t my finest hour, obviously. I look forward to the next two occasions to meet with Governor Romney.” The silly excuses just keep the story alive.

  • barleycorn

Obama is such a punk. Sununu was dead on when he called Obama “detached and lazy”. Obama’s performance and his comments about the debate reek of high school and one of the cool kids smoking pot and making fun of the kids who actually, you know, try to get an education.

  • commonsenseobserver

There’s been a surge of trolls throughout the Conservative blogosphere…

  • rkinroanoke

That may be the harshest rebuke of Obama’s performance that I have heard.

    Obama Wins Post-Debate Excuse-athon http://www.wbur.org/2012/10/05/obama-debate-excuses

  • http://www.TerriersOfTheRight.blogspot.com Flagstaff

Mitt Romney used a cheat sheet, already loaded with answers to questions that were known only to Jim Lehrer? Was John Edward divining those questions for him?

University of Wisconsin students believe that BO should have been allowed to use his teleprompter, but without explaining how the answers would get loaded into it so he could read them. Maybe they think he could wrest John Edward away from Romney.
And Obama did badly either because (1) the altitude got to him {from Al Gore} or (2) he was distracted by a mysterious national crisis that he didn’t tell us about {from Bob Woodward}. Of the two, and recognizing that the IQ of Bob Woodward’s big toe is higher than that of Al Gore’s head and his top two advisers combined, I would pick #1 as the more likely of the two if I had to believe one of them. There is no evidence of any kind to support Woodward’s suggestion, but we DO know that the debate was indeed staged in Denver at about 5000 feet elevation.

  • tnfriendofcoal101368

Michael Eric Dyson in an attempt to make Al Gore look like the voice of reason, said Obama’s bad performance was due to as a black man, he couldn’t come across as angry because of the racial stereotype of an angry black man. The stuff that MSNBC will let on its air is just ming boggling. I think I need a shower after writing this.

  • http://www.TerriersOfTheRight.blogspot.com Flagstaff

Here is a sentence that some public commenters are coming closer and closer to uttering: “Barack Obama is President today for the same reason that he was elected Editor of the Harvard Law Review.”

  • http://www.TerriersOfTheRight.blogspot.com Flagstaff

“UNEMPLOYMENT REDUCED (over-night), but it took 39 months to do it…..”AND a HUGE NEW GOVERNMENT HIRING SPREE”

Yep. It’s gone mostly unnoticed. I guess if the government now hires enough park rangers we can get unemployment down to 3% or so by election day.

  • http://www.TerriersOfTheRight.blogspot.com Flagstaff

How do you get all those words on a small piece of paper? And how did he know what to write in the first place? Did anybody see him reading from it during the debate? These people are nuts.

  • http://www.TerriersOfTheRight.blogspot.com Flagstaff

    From your link:

    “About Bill Buck

Bill Buck is a Democratic strategist, President of the Buck Communications Group, a media relations and new media strategies consulting business based in Washington, DC, and Managing Director of the online ad firm Influence DSP. He has over twenty years of international and national communications experience. The views and opinions expressed in this post are those of the author and do not necessarily reflect the official policy or position of CBS Local.”

And also, Bill Buck is a moron who can’t tie his own shoes.

  • Wrightclick

    Romney 1, Obama ‘present’.

  • OldmanRick

Finally many folks awoke to the fact that without a teleprompter and material another wrote the wannabe emperor has no clothes.

  • streiff

you can’t be serious… but wait… you are.

  • barleycorn

This is actually a very good point. Obama is like the knot nose kid who cowers when confronted but then afterwards talks tough and claims it will be different next time.

  • barleycorn

Well I meant “snot nosed” kid but “knot nosed” works for Obama too.

  • barleycorn

    BINGO!

The fact that he has gone on a magical whiny tour is not only immature and declasse but it’s a lousy move politically.

  • barleycorn

He got his reputation as a great debater at LibMart the same store where he got his reputation as a centrist, a great mind, a uniter, and a healer. I told a couple black friends back in 2008 that they would live to regret the day they heard of Barack Obama. Its sad that such an empty suit was the first non-white person elected president.

  • runner12

Obama’s performance was wretched. These absurd excuses make him look weak and in my mind are compounding the damage done. If the Left had any sense (which they don’t) they would quit now. But they just are beside themselves that Obama got exposed for the fraud that he is (a fraud created by the media itself).

  • Highsider

Dems, Dems, Dems……. How many times must I tell you? Never deficate immediately before you pontificate! This will happen every time.

  • http://lvjohnston.blogspot.com/ lvjohnston

A poster out in the blogosphere quoted Mark Twain in reference to Obama’s uh, performance at the uh, debate: “If you tell the truth you don’t have to remember anything.”

  • Viet71

The notion Obama will do better next time is wrong, IMO. I believe the nation saw the real, the true, the only Obama in the context of a debate where he has no inherent advantage.

He was able to beat up on McCain because (a) he was really running against the unpopular GWB, (b) McCain was a weak debater (bottom of his class at Navy), and (c) Obama didn’t have to defend a record of his own.

All those advantages are gone now.

I think Romney hoses him again in Round 2.

  • Dave_A

I think Obama forgot that he was not debating an about-to-retire Senator this time…

Sure, Obama used to be a lawyer… But he was an academic lawyer, who never had to swim in the corporate shark-tank or make a case in court…

And he goes against a professional business-analyst/consultant, with a penchant for numbers & detail….

    Results: Obvious.

  • Dave_A

Same folks saw GW attend a debate with body armor under his suitcoat, and claimed it was a radio-reciever worn so Karl & Dick could feed him answers…

  • pajamakat

Exactly. He looked like such an idiot during the debate, then the next day he goes out compaining trying to look like a tough guy, mocking Romney. Sometimes I still can’t believe that this little wimp is the president of our beloved country. And you have his lemmings out there screaming for four more years.

  • pajamakat

Maybe he was hoping that somehow his teleprompter was going to magically appear.

  • beastdogs8

For nearly 4 years Obama has been treated as god like by the left and the liberal media, pretty much nothing Obama did or said was questioned or fact checked by the left and the liberal media. Every word and action by Obama was deemed by the left and the liberal media as gospel, and for anyone to dear question Obama’s word, was deemed to be a racist and a extremist. At the debate Obama was up on stage alone, the left, the liberal media, and even his TelePrompter could not circle the wagons and protect him. Obama was up on stage alone to defend his record, which he could not do, Obama was exposed as the fraud, and clueless moron he is. Obama was told what his liberal protectors would never dear do: Obama was basically told that he is buck ass nude and has been nude all along. Obama was force to see the reality of his epic failure of a record, and he had no answer at all for it.

  • clowngirl

This is the reason there’s so little risk of complacency. The thought of what our enemies might do if Obama remains President after showing such contemptible weakness – makes his reelection doubly not an option.

  • CarolT

We know Obama needs his tele prompter. The debate? I question if it was a debate because O hardly said anything, he looked like a pouty kid. Mitt came off as the grown man, with facts to backup what he had to say.
I have yet to watch the entire thing, but I had a thrill up my leg when I put MSNBC to amuse myself at 11 that night and watched Chris Matthews lose it. Does anyone know when MSNBC became an “educational channel”? Matthews said O has to only watch that horrid network.
Rush said Friday that some say POTUS was on valium or another one for anxiety. If he needs one to debate Mitt what does he need to speak with Putin?
