Hillary Clinton Prepares to See Underside of Obama Bus

I do hear that President Obama will let Hillary Clinton tour a tire factory this week so she can at least match a dress to the tire tread, but one way or the other, Hillary Clinton is now going under the Obama bus.

Joe Biden began the effort to throw Hillary under the bus in the debate Thursday night. He said the White House never knew about additional security requests. With a town hall style Presidential debate tomorrow night, Barack Obama needed plausible deniability. Hillary Clinton gave it to him on CNN.

She said she took full responsibility for the unmitigated disaster that was the coverup of what happened in Libya to Ambassador Stevens and she took full responsibility for the failure to secure the Ambassador. In short, she’s falling on the sword to save Obama.

Except, doesn’t the buck stop with Barack Obama? That’s what Barack Obama said when attacking Mitt Romney over Bain Capital.

[A]s president of the United States, it’s pretty clear to me that I’m responsible for folks who are working in the federal government and you know, Harry Truman said the buck stops with you.

That’s what the President said back in July. In the same interview, he went on to say, “one of the things you learn is, you are ultimately responsible for the conduct of your operations.”

But then again, often what this President practices and what he preaches are two different things.

    After more than month after the attack, Hillary takes the fall?? Knowing Hillary as we all do, something about this stinks to high heaven.

    Is this a real sword made of real steel? Or is a paper sword with no consequences that the Obama media can cover up for her at some point? Now, Obama should fire her, but he is too weak. He fears the wrath of the Clintons. Failed experiment to make this rat a leader. The American people will toss this “green” petri dish mouse of a man. Are you a man or a mouse Obama? Come on squeak up!

    Would the smart thing to do tomorrow for Romney be to ask Obama if the buck really stops with Hillary? Is this an issue to take a real stand on and to call these cya “leaders” out? Perhaps it is, because it is the truth. Tell us what you really think Mr. President, does the buck stop with Hillary?

    ***Oddly, we didn’t believe Bill and we didn’t believe Obama. Now, some could forgive Hillary for staying with Bill even though he embarrassed her in front of the entire world…but now she comes back and gets embarrassed AGAIN by some guy who cares not one wit for her? For what purpose? Did he threaten to take away her post if she didn’t become the fall guy? Tell him hell no. Let him fire you and go to the media with what you know. If she is planning a 2016 run this is not going to help. She is weak. She is no Maggie Thatcher!

    And it still does not clear up all the excuse making (covering up) of the Libyan incident. It does not explain why they needed to blame the film (when they new almost immediately it was not to blame).

    What I don’t understand about the whole thing is: “Why all the hocus pocus?”

    Why not just admit you screwed up, Benghazi is a dangerous place, you misread all the signals, you had your heads up your posteriors, and as a result you had a debacle happen on your watch?

    What I’m surprised at most of all is that they just didn’t *admit* it from the beginning. Just come clean with the American people and say: “We screwed up. It wasn’t our best moment. It wasn’t even close to our best moment. But we’re taking control of it and we won’t let it happen again. We thought things were under control but we were wrong. Our judgment was flawed.”

    I mean, that would have put this whole thing to bed two days after it happened. Almost everyone would have forgiven them.

    That’s why everyone knows that all the rest was a complete fabrication. They could have easily told the truth, instead they chose the complex lie. It’s always the same story with this crew.

    Barry’s response will be limited to “the State Department addressed the issue earlier in the week.” He won’t mention Hillary by name.
    Rolling this thing out a night before the debate speaks volumes.

    Hillary thinks she an have her cake and eat it too. She got caught and so did White House. Only she is stepping up as Sec state at top of a big agency and taking the fall knowing she would be blamed in part anyway. And in 2016 supporters can point to her sacrifice or her willingness to stand up for Benghazi security flaws failures when Obama was dodoging the blame. Afterall, to date there have been no real consequences to taking the fall in terms of her inevitable march to 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. She is still placing the security decisions on Intelliegence networks and others.

    Hillary did not lead. She knew Sept 11 was a target of the Islamic and anti US mob, She knew Obama had danced on bin Laden’s grave all week. And she knew full secuirty requests had been denied. One word from her and four Americans might tbe alive who did not have to die in a 9/11 revenge killing by al q.

    This is a PR stunt and part of the administration’s obstruction of discovering why four Americans were unprotected and murdered on 9/11 in Benghazi.
    Far from taking responsibliity she is part of the cover up and obstructing.

    BOB (Barack Obama Benghazi) is hiding behind Hillary. BOB will not hold anyone responsible. If BOB could blame GWB he would try. But I do take issue with Hillary and “brilliant” in the same sentence. She fell on her sword for the dishonorable BOB. Both of them will ultimately loose. Her for taking the blame and him for appearing weak minded.

    WHO told Susan Rice what to say and WHY did she blatantly lie on five different network TV shows? Was that Hillary’s idea too? I think not? Did Hillary engineer this cover-up? I think not.

    Well, how clever. HIllary states the buck stops with her and should go no further. Not trying to politicize the issue right before an election or anything are you, HIllary? Falling on your sword like a loyal Obama operative? Just like you did when you accused Republicans of a vast right-wing conspiracy rather than admit your husband was a man who couldn’t keep his pants zipped up? Hmmmm.

    I don’t know that Hillary is “falling on her sword” I mean – how she not at at fault.

    I don’t see that it’s an either-or situation- both are culpable and have several serious problems that aren’t going to be spun away or even forgotten.

    Maybe Hillary’s just the first to realize that at least making a pretense of accepting responsibility is the only real option.

    Keep in mind that all of these folks are lawyers. They NEVER admit fault, because they fear they’ll be sued for their negligence.

    The attack happened on 9/11/12. Perhaps if she would have come out on…oh, I don’t know, 9/12/12 and Obama would have bowed low TO AMERICANS maybe, just maybe we might have bought into it. The headline would have read “4 American’s dead. State Dept claims responsibility. Al Queda involved. Obama notes buck stops here.” But no– what we got FOR THE LAST FEW WEEKS was — “There was a really bad film that upset some radicals and somebody in the government knew what was going to happen but we’re shifting the blame to another level so, move on to the next question.”

    Barack Obama is as responsible as Hillary Clinton. Clinton should have resigned on 9/11/2012. That she is still Secretary of State is disgraceful. And Hillary is not under the bus — some underling yet to be identified will be under that bus.
