I for one am sick of Paulistas claiming that Ron Paul is the godsend of cost-cutting. Hogwash. He loads up bills that are going to pass without a doubt, i.e., defense appropriations bills, with pork for his district and then votes NO! That way, he can claim that he’s against it all while bringing home the pork to the folks at home. And you’re completely taken in by it. And they call Obama’s drones Obots.

BTW, those actions show that his integrity is a joke.

Gary Johnson is a watermelon. In other words, Green on the outside and Red on the inside.

This scandal should end Obama’s presidency but unfortunately, liberals have done a great job blurring the lines between right and wrong, i.e., “i did not have sex with that woman,” and, “it all depends on what your definition of “is” is,” so that Americans no longer demand justice.

    Nixon resigned over lying.
Bubba Clinton was impeached over it.
Obama is celebrated and screened by the press over it.

Ron Paul is on record as promising to present a balanced budget to Congress on day 1 if he’s elected. Unlike Flip Flopney and Obummer, Paul and Johnson BOTH are willing to SPECIFICALLY STATE what they’ll cut in order to achieve balance. If you think that adding a couple of million in pork to occasional defense appropriations bills makes Paul as spineless as the the guy who’s cutting taxes by $5 trillion while increasing defense spending by $2 trillion over the next decade (Romney) or the guy with a new trillion dollar underfunded healthcare law (Obama), then you might already be a lost cause.

And I couldn’t help but note how weak your Gary Johnson criticism was. You couldn’t come up with a substantive rebuttal so you called him a watermelon. Tell me something. How seriously do you take people who insult YOUR favored candidate without providing any specific examples of his flaws?

Nice one, Melody. Ignore a candidate’s policies and judge them based on who they endorse. I “love” the fact that people like you have the right to vote. Sadly, you probably consider yourself to be an informed voter. For the record, Paul’s endorsement was more a proverbial middle finger to the 2 party system than anything else. And how, pray tell, did gunnyg2002 “take care” of Johnson?

  • Melody Warbington

Yes indeed, I have the right to vote as well as serving on the steering committee of my local GOP, working with my local tea party to GOTV, donating to campaigns, educating my friends, family and neighbors (especially about RP), and so much more. At present, I have the right to post at redstate. If you advocate a third party, your right to do so may very well be revoked if the mods feel so inclined. I don’t really care.

Paul can stick his middle finger where the sun doesn’t shine. There’s a plethora of facts about Paul’s policies as well as his associations here at redstate and elsewhere that have been hashed and re-hashed without having to do so again, but Paul’s truther and anti-Israel policies are exactly why I have such disdain for the man. However, I will reiterate that anyone who would endorse McKinney for whatever reason is not worthy of being considered for any office, much less POTUS. And she’s certainly not Paul’s only questionable association.

gunny’s statement about Johnson speaks for itself. If you don’t get it, I doubt anyone can help you. Bless your heart.

Fun! I haven’t had the chance to ban a Ronulan for a while. And a Gary Johnson fetishist at the same time. Double Rainbow!

  • Dave_A

As with most Paulist positions, the anticorporate rubbish is more at home on the Dem side….

Btw… Is RS still banning paulists?

  • Dave_A

Wow, who’d of thought, Obama talking points from a Ron Paul supporter.

  • nugget

correct me if I’m wrong, but did not Romney’s running mate Ryan vote for sequestration?
