FRONT PAGE CONTRIBUTOR

Comparing the instincts of Mitt Romney to those of Barack Obama.

Class is what you show when you're not thinking about it*.

This is what Romney-Ryan thinks is important enough to mention in the last two weeks of the campaign. It is the latest email that I have received from the campaign.

Stay safe, give to the Red Cross, and GET THOSE ROMNEY-RYAN SIGNS INSIDE!  High winds will turn them into deathtraps!

This is what Obama for America thinks is important enough to mention in the last two weeks of the campaign. It is the latest email that I have received from the campaign.

The Other Side has more money.  Give us five bucks.

…And that’s the way it goes. Sorry, but it’s not my fault.  I voted for the other guy last time.

Did you know Romney is also sending a campaign bus to help with relief efforts? Tremendous! We’re going to put a REAL leader in the White House come Nov. 6th.

  • sengokunadeko14

god, those obama e-mailers are annoying. how many times do they have to ask in a single e-mail for money?

and even after asking like three times, they can’t help themselves, and ask one more time in the postscript. really disgusts me for some reason.

  • sengokunadeko14

also, that little “enter to win” thing? illegal under federal gambling law. that’s why if you actually go to their site, you can realize you can enter it for free. as many time as you want (a million times if you have the time to click submit again and again and again).
so much for those obama suckers who give up their precious $5 thinking they’re actually entering to play a fair game.

  • The_Gadfly

You have to admire the Obama administration. They have a real ability to maintain that laser focus on what’s really important to the American people whether jobs, the economy, or ….
    Mmmm, donuts.

    Stay classy, O.

  • Mike_D_in_SC

Oh, and if you give five bucks, you might get a chance to actually meet The One!!!! You should be all a-twitter!!! (/snark)

  • canttaknymore

It just goes to highlight their differences.
Obomass was raised entitled, he is going to “monitor” it then order the GOV to fix everything for the rest of the entitled!
Romney was raised to do for yourself and lend a hand to those in need. He is proactive and trying to actually DO things to help.
IF YOU’RE NOT PART OF THE SOLUTION, THEN YOU ARE PART OF THE PROBLEM!!
Prayers going out to all in the path of Sandy.

  • finbar

I’m surprised the Obama email didn’t implore people to take those Romney-Ryan yard signs inside too.

    Anyway :P

    And of course,

To be fair, I got an email from Ann asking for $5 and a chance to lunch -but- I also the the Red Cross email too.

No one expects that the campaigns will stop but at least, as Mitt did, take the time to help.

I do assume no one is surprised that the same campaign that went to Vegas after Benghazi is the campaign not even mentioning it Sandy?

If it were Obama sending a Red Cross email, he would be vaunted to Saint-like status and Romney excoriated for his lack of caring for the poor and middle class affected by the storm.

What’s really hilarious is that sometimes they are from Obama himself (or they’re written that way). And they say “you can enter to win a chance to meet me”. How very lucky you would be to get a “chance to meet me”. Too funny.

  • burnadams

I can also guarantee that the “lucky” person who wins isn’t by chance. There is no way they would let someone like me sit in the front row of Obama’s speech.

Can’t have any of that “speaking truth to power” thing you know. =)

“Donate whatever you can right now, to make sure we finish this campaign strong.”

Uh, Michelle – that should be “strongly.”

  • fightnright

Barack Obama: Opportunistic. Narcissistic; self absorbed. Ungenerous. Duplicitous. Moral Relativist. Goldbricker. Apathetic. Ducks responsibility.

Mitt Romney: Honest. Altruistic. Moral. Empathic. Charitable. Incorruptible. Hard worker. Achiever. Leads by example.

If you hadn’t seen a single campaign ad – is there a single doubt which man you would trust with your family’s future?

  • ctredstater

time to break out the “don’t blame me – I voted for Sarah Palin and her running mate” bumper stickers.
