I see you’ve been drinking Elizabeth Warren’s koolaid or you’re logged onto the wrong website.

The left is now officially the party of “Gimme Free Stuff.” You won’t be able to whitewash it like you were able to whitewash your racist past.

What American’s wanted was freedom from those who would make perpetual hatred between American’s a cornerstone of our existence. The real Americans out there -conservative and liberal – are not looking for fresh ways to denigrate and insult their peace-loving neighbors solely for not viewing the role of government as they do. The Democrats won the presidency and increased their lead in both congressional houses because this moderate majority of American politics (what Republican’s now call “liberal”) just don’t equate social programs like Medicare or Obamacare with tyranny, regardless of whether they agree with them or not.

A lot of my Democrat friends who are college educated and upper middle class had another issue with Romney that no one seems to understand. They feel that the financial collapse in 2008 was caused by lack of regulation and the weakening of the SEC. So they were TERRIFIED when Romney talked about reducing regulation and eliminating government agencies. They kept arguing that if Romney won, we’d risk another financial collapse.

There were simple enough ways to address this fear. Romney could have said he’d cut intrusive red tape but keep in place the regulations that prevented a large-scale collapse. But he didn’t seem to “hear” that concern.

I also think he turned off a lot of working class voters by constantly mentioning entrepreneurs and job creators, but never workers.

All of these things would have been easy fixes if Rs had been listening.
