    “We don’t have the power to effect the events in Iraq, Afghanistan, Iran, Egypt, Libya and so many other places” – Jed Babbin. Then why are we still wasting billions of dollars trying to?

    Good question. And what does all this have to do with jobs for Americans? The Middle East? Come on, who cares? Outside of a few specialists in the Defense Establishment who depend on our preoccupation with the Middle East to send their kids to private colleges?
