Breaking: Union thug violence towards right-to-work supporters in Michigan.

Charming:

Here’s a picture of the former tent in question.

Moral of the story, besides the obvious? GET A CAMERA. The Left STILL doesn’t get how bad they look when they get recorded Acting Badly.

More over at Twitchy. Much more, including random acts of assault, battery, and the now-deleted tweet where Michigan House Democrats egged on the aforementioned union thuggery.

This isn’t what “democracy” looks like, this is what Liberalism IS.

“Moral of the story, besides the obvious? GET A CAMERA. The Left STILL doesn’t get how bad they look when they get recorded Acting Badly.”
Then why do these slimy weasels keep on getting elected?

  • MoeLane

A lot of the more egregious ones abruptly lost their jobs in 2010. It’s instructive to note that when, say, Grayson got back in in 2012 it was via a remarkably lower-key campaign than previously.

where was the (unionized) Lansing police force? on their negotiated break time?

  • fredflintlock

Are you sure about this, Moe? I was listening to All Things Considered this afternoon, and they didn’t have anything on this.

Just a glimpse of what’s bound to come when entitlements are cut or run out. And they didn’t even lose collective bargaining, just the payment scheme.
Being as I’ve never been a union worker, what would happen if a group starts a new union that competes with the old unions in place? Would the same happen from these thugs even tho’ they support unions? Just asking….

    Imagine that.

  • The_Gadfly

I think that in a lot of ways the pay scheme is even more important than collective bargaining. It undercuts their ability to raise political money from people who disagree with their ideology. Properly codified and enforced, SCOTUS’s Beck decision should have killed unions at least a decade ago.

On the question of whether the same thing would happen if a new union started, the answer is no. Unfortunately it would be even worse. What we have now is innocents backing away from thugs. Union on union is thug on thug so it gets even more violent and more bloody. Problem is that then the LSM blames the violence on the heartless capitalists who won’t even negotiate with the unions.

  • The_Gadfly

Yes, we have to fight back, but we have to fight back smart. Yeah, I’d like the visceral satisfaction of gunning down the SOBs too. But the fact is, that’s what they’re looking for. The LSM would then run with their footage of violent Tea Party racists gunning down innocent union protesters. Instead we have to fight back the way Moe is describing: Get it on film. After that I think we need a slightly different course than usually gets advocated. I think we need to demand the perps are identified, tried, and have the book thrown at them after they are convicted. No nonsense about full jails. Because what we are witnessing isn’t the reprehensible but lesser crime of assault, battery and theft directed at a single person – it’s an outright attack on democracy and the right of the majority to govern themselves.

That ought to be easy with the thug who assaulted the reporter. His name,Tony Cummings, was on his jacket. On the back was a large IBEW logo.

what about a camera mounted on an AR-15?
