VIDEO: A Quick Reminder on Benghazi

As Hillary Clinton takes to Capitol Hill to answer questions related to the attacks in Benghazi on September 11th of last year, it might be a good time to have a reminder of what the State Department and the administration’s initial response was to the act of terrorism.

Consider this an open thread.

If GOP senators don’t ask her about the “video” and if she sent out Rice, or if not her, then who, and why didn’t she herself go on air…..

Today’s hearing illustrates very well the problem we have with Congressional Republicans–they are lazy and unorganized. Maybe disorganized.

It has been more than four months since the Benghazi attack. Ms. Clinton’s testimony has been delayed for weeks because of her medical situation. That is plenty of time for the committee Republicans to have met and decided on a course of action, including what questions to ask and in what way. They obviously didn’t do that. It appeared that only a few of them had even thought about the effect their “questions” (or their speeches) would have on Ms. Clinton and the administration’s narrative, and apparently NONE of them had discussed their questions with the others.

As a result, the questioning was disjointed and led nowhere definitive, and the Obama narrative is still intact. Ms. Clinton brushed away the questions like so many flies. Her feigned outrage at Senator Johnson’s question simply diverted the hearing, and he had no follow-up.

I doubt that anybody who didn’t already know about the lies yesterday knows about them today, and there were precisely NO unanswered questions ASKED, let alone answered.

ANY of us could have come up with better questions than those that were directed at Ms. Clinton. Therefore, I can only conclude that the Republican questioners were too lazy to think about their questions in advance and too disorganized to come together to create a strategy. Or, they really weren’t interested in getting enlightening answers, only in providing Ms. Clinton with a chance to repeat her false narrative.

Finally, it shows us clearly that there is NO Congressional Republican leadership. As bad a leader as Obama is, he at least EXISTS. SOMEBODY is giving the Democrats direction. Our leader is an empty chair who didn’t see fit to formulate a strategy to deal with the testimony they knew they’d hear.

Of course, this is patently absurd. Or she is incompetent. Or both.

It’s both…absurd and she’s incompetent. It was disgusting that they did not drill her more than they did. Oh, well. Her day of judgment will come.
