Southern Poverty Law Center Inspires Floyd Lee Corkins’ Attempted Mass Shooting

When Congresswoman Giffords and several others were shot in Arizona by Jared Loughner, the left went into overdrive blaming Sarah Palin for a map that had a list of political targets on it.

After the fact, we learned that Lochner was a-political and he clearly had not used Sarah Palin’s map of political targets. That did not stop the left from blaming the right. In fact, I was on CNN with an overwrought Cornell Belcher shortly after the shooting who was outraged. He said we could not equate anything on the left with the violence of the tea party despite evidence to the contrary.

In fact, most networks spent a lot of time on the subject of hate, Sarah Palin’s political target map, and political violence.

I’m willing to bet the media will ignore today’s news.

Floyd Lee Corkins, II, who shot a security guard at the Family Research Center as he attempted to shoot up the organization was directly inspired to take action by a list of supposed “hate groups” on the Southern Poverty Law Center’s website.

As Life News notes

Corkins said he intended to “kill as many as possible and smear the Chick-Fil-A sandwiches in victims’ faces, and kill the guard.” The prosecutor said they reviewed the family computer and found that he identified his targets on the Southern Poverty Law Center’s web site.

I hope my friends in the media who spent much time talking about Sarah Palin’s political target map will now talk about the Southern Poverty Law Center’s routine and reckless use of the label “hate group” with which is smears conservatives.

By the way, Palin took down her target map after the controversy. The Southern Poverty Law Center? Crickets . . .

    Hate begets hate. eom

The SpLC is responsible for inspiring murder as well as hate. Liberals are usually what they accuse others of being.

Correction to that: liberals are *always* what they accuse others of being. It’s called projection.

Talk about crickets! The media will NOT cover this. If they have to say anything they will claim it is a typical right-wing hate filled lie. They just cannot stand facts that clash with their dogma! So, they will either totally ignore it or try to twist it 180 to use it to blame us for what they wrought. They would rather lie than tell the truth, and will never admit the truth they don’t like. Even if you had video of him saying it in court, they would say you doctored the tape, or that he was tortured into saying it, or they would just refuse to show it or admit anything. Lefties are the most blind of all human beings, because they can keep themselves from seeing anything they don’t want to see.

We’re not going to hear about all the hate on the right? How refreshing.

why does the left always shirk one of their own having a hateful nature. Gun problems will always be a matter of individual responsibility. You cannot punish someone else if you are irresponsible.

I am falling for the trap set by liberals. This blatant double-standard stuff is so common that, not only am I unsurprised, I have become bored, even fatigued.
Is this their intended goal? I find it difficult to continue to point out the obvious pile of bullshi* this really is.
The most transparent administration in history can count this type of event as one of their nicely fitting pieces that makes up the mosaic of stupid liberal non-accountability.

It still is sickening but constantly yelling at a dumb spoiled brat for making a mess doesn’t mop up the diarrhea. I guess I’ll take another breath . . . regardless of the smell.

It’s called “olfactory fatigue”, even a used port-a-john will become bearable if you’re stuck in one long enough.

media response: crickets. they can not see or hear thru their liberal ideology. Too bad we don’t seem to have the equivalent on the conservative side. We like to stay true to our ideology, even when it is intent upon our destruction.

Glenn Beck discussed the hypocrisy of this at length on the radio this morning.

I don’t understand why the media has become so hardcore leftist. It use to be that the media jumped on any story it could. Now they pick and chose what they are going to report,. They take sides on the issues instead of giving the facts. 25 years ago they would go after a Democrat as fast as they would a Republican. Now the Democrat can do no wrong and if they do it must be the republicans fault. Just like in Jared Loughner case immedialtely even knowing he at one time had worked for Giffords the media blamed the right for the shooting. every piece of information was then in spin mode by the press and the worst park of all of this is the public contiunues to let them get away with it. Fox news has begun to fall into their trap. Fox has effectively shut down any comments about their stories. They are becoming a none player in the media anymore becasue they have let the left drive the converastions.

I think you can map it back to the education system. The Left was brilliant in how they’ve taken over secondary and higher education. Their indoctrination is much easier when they own the hearts and minds of the high school and university instructors and everything they teach is tinged with left-wing philosophy. So graduates from j-school are already propagandized and ready to spread their gospel of leftism through their reporting and commentary.

“Transference”, is the psychological term whereby you accuse others of what you suffer from
