Where can I hear Rand”s response?

Rand makes a good sincere sales pitch for his brand of Republicanism. I can’t imagine someone like Boehner delivering that kind of response with an ounce of credibility. I also sensed a bit of self-promotion in this which makes me wonder if he’s laying the groundwork for a 2016 run.

It played in real time on this page already. He was standing in front of a Tea Party Express background, so imagine they’ll have an archived link on their website, or you could check Youtube later.

Anyone have a link to a transcript? I just read Marco Rubio’s speech and it was pretty good.

Oh you bet he is. But we will get stuck with Rubio, wait and see. Once again, Democrat Lite.

He’s better than that. At least talks the talk, which is part of the battle. But he’s not a true small c conservative.

Well done Senator Rand Paul! Senator Paul has been a consistent voice for fiscal responsibility and limited government. His excellent response showed that.

If I had to choose between Rand Paul and Rubio today, I would lean towards Paul. It is not that I do not like or respect Rubio. I like a lot of what he says. I do not even have a problem with his immigration proposal on paper.
That being said, I need to see how Rubio reacts when the GOP establishment tries to co-opt him, as they are already trying to do. Will he stand on principle? When his immigration reform ideas get destroyed by the Left in Congress (as it inevitably will), will he walk away as he said he would do in his diary a few weeks ago at RS? I guess it is wait and see on Rubio. Of course, I could never really argue with a Rubio/Paul ticket either way. Both are a massive improvement from what we have had!

BTW…Happy Valentine’s Day…Guys…don’t forget to tell her you love her today :-)

I was listening to Hannity on XM yesterday and what I found interesting was Van Jones’ response. To paraphrase…Democrats be very scared of Rubio. Now why is that…Because the man has lived the American Dream…not just talked it…people identify with him. I hope he does not sell out to the Dems. For those who do not like Rubio…he does advocate securing the border FIRST.
