How about we discuss the constitutionality of his proposal? Or the fact that is just an attempt to bolster the ranks of dues paying, Democrat supporting, NEA members? Or the fact that it is a Marxist goal to start indoctrination as early as possible?

There’s a reason for this…get them brainwashed earlier.

“Obama Pushes Universal Pre-K Despite Evidence it Hurts Children”

    “despite” or “because”?

I went to a CE once by an OT who discussed how the increase in sensory processing disorders and poor motor skills is due to not enough parents playing and interacting with children. Too much tv, internet, and video games that promote a sedentary form of development. Of particular interest, she cited a country (it escapes me now) that has one of the highest literacy rates in the world and they do not teach a child their letters till age 6.

We try to much in this country to cram our poor children’s head full of knowledge before they are developmentally ready. Children learn best through play and actively engaging in their environment. Placing children in pre-k en masse, where they are mostly sitting (sedentary), is more likely to be harmful than helpful.
