Mario Loyola’s Fluffernutter Ode to Mitch McConnell

In 2014, if conservatives can drum up a primary against Mitch McConnell of value, the conservative movement will finally have the brush fire of liberty it needs to burn up the under brush of the movement. Add Mario Loyola to the list of Republicans first, conservative second with this entry.

I’m really trying to keep the sexual slang and innuendo to a minimum in describing what he does here to Mitch McConnell. I realize most of you have never heard of Mario Loyola, but when we set up our wikipedia of those within the conservative movement who’ve done us harm, he’ll be on the list with ACU.

This is really some fluffernutter:

My own view, as a former Senate staffer, is that Mitch McConnell is a priceless leader for the GOP in the Senate. He has made absolutely as much as could have been made of the Senate GOP’s opposition to the Obama agenda, given the votes they had. It’s impossible to imagine that any other senator could have done as well, as elegantly, as Mitch McConnell has done.

He must have needed a new keyboard after writing that.

Embarassing.

These guys must smoke some that rocky mountain high stuff. I’ve seen the Mitch emails and the attachment to reality is limited. A lot like this guy. I second the BS call

Or more likely, Mario has become so inured to Washington that he’s come to believe what he wrote.Very hard to overcome the gravity of the Dark Tower.once you put on a ring…

What crap. Imagine what Ted Cruz could accomplish as minority leader. He’s the kind if no nonsense hard baller we need in the game, not mushy Mitch.

Making some progress on this front this week.

He will have a lot of new company in rivals, I hope, because I am not voting for any senator who supported Mitch McConnell as minority leader.

Makes perfect sense. The Senate has long considered itself the American House of Lords, required only by the distasteful necessity of periodic elections to occasionally pretend to defend an actual principle beyond continuing in office..

You can’t have such an environment without creating an army of butt-kissing courtiers, some of whom are bound to escape into soft-landing sinecures like the National Revision (its 21st century, updated motto: “Standing athwart history, yelling ‘ok, but not so fast’.”).

Nah. It’s an older movie than that…

I’ve no doubt that if a quality standard-bearer is found, and if he or she is supported by the grass roots, Mitch McConnell can be successfully primaried– and it will send a tremendous and powerful message. The GOP Establishment needs to learn that we aren’t going away; the days of we conservatives outside the Beltway bending the knee to the Establishment’s continued contribution to ever-expanding Government and ever-growing debt are over.

  • joecollins

Is there anyone we can trust lining up to oppose Mitch?

  • PaladinLostHour

Well, that’s worrisome in itself – McConnell’s no spring chicken.

Has he done nothing to build the party apparatus / bench of successors, or does the guy think he’s the Highlander?

  • PaladinLostHour

I could get behind hot Ashley Judd from 25 years ago in the Senate. Shrewish, lost-her-looks Ashley Judd from present day in the Senate – that, and Franken’s continual presence is just a sign of the Apocalypse.

count me in~! SURE AS HELL BEATS # 3 party futility!~

Cuts both ways. Need to be forging our armour!

Only those willing to place their lives, fortunes and sacred honor…..
Blood bath (figuratively) potential requires a full committment. Remember JFK… and bro Robert….one of their own but some area of principle. Nothing is too low nor evil in either party’s puppeteers.

BS post of “ye of little faith”!!! Not realism but lazy! Much soon to hit the masses, even in Mo. Our ability to articulate why… is our challenge to STAND in faith for the peceived IMPOSSIBLE…. Democrats only have the delusional classes. Mo has a grass roots base much larger! PREPARE. Take the higher ground of Truth and reality. Watch the next few months and prepare your messages of reality.

Do we really think we’d lose kentucky to a democrat? I mean, their other senator is Rand Paul. the Republican is a lock unless he is a complete idiot.
Anyway, even if we can’t win a primary, a credible threat of a primary challenge usually helps.
