Anderson Cooper - great reporter; a real go to guy in a hurricane...but BORRRINNNGGG in a hour long format. Seriously when I have a bout of insomnia, I flip over to Anderson Cooper.

Erin Burnett - a solid financial reporter (even if she is a lefty) who hardly does finance reporting in a recession. That about sums up CNN's decision making.

Piers Morgan - the person who thought "an hour of Piers Morgan interviews" was interesting television should be taken out and put down.

CNN ratings are down because they are boring. Fox News ignored Ron Paul like he had a contagious disease and the ratings have never been better. MSNBC covered Paul the most (heck, they figured a Republican (in the loosest definition of the word) so embarassing RedState had to make banning his supporters a site policy was their kind of Republican. MSNBC's ratings are 1/2 of Fox's. I just don't think the assertation holds water.

PTTP - I apologize for being more long winded than you. I just have more hope that as the Paulbots leave puberty they will become productive members of society (acat believes they'll end up with their spiritual brothers at OWS but I try to be hopeful).

Ron Paul, you , and the rest of his cult members are a plague on normal society and should be treated with absolute disrespect and disdain.

The bright spot of this years election is that he will be retiring so he can slink off and die.

But it is funny you think the media's rating decline is because they did not give air time to the blowhard Ron Paul.]

The way the American media blacked out Ron Paul in the 2012 primary season shows how corrupt the media is. It was a travesty, but now there is blow back. Look at the ratings for CNN. They have taken a deep dive and so have the other cable news channels. People are starting to distrust American media outlets and are finding good journalism elsewhere.

It's obvious GOP messaging is rarely coordinated and each person takes on the media themselves. They fall for the biased hostile media line of gotcha questioning all the time.

and post on other sites. The only way the media will ever change is if people complain directly and corporate board members see the negative impact as well as continued profit declines. The public can speed that along. Demographics work against liberal news as is. As internet media grows, people will choose detailed news over omissions, lies and media corruption. Fools on the left don't get it, all the attacks on FOX failed, in fact the lunacy only drove business where it needed to be. Though fox isn't conservative enough but certainly better than the rest.

The GOP and conservatives need to voice their opinions publicly and by writing about media corruption. Nothing hurts more than negative opinions. The corruption is too obvious at times.

Several examples were mentioned. I'll add another, the true cost of Obamacare taxes from Grover Norquist. A responsible media would share this info with the public and would have done so before the scotus ruling.

Obamacare has 20 new taxes so the smart approach is to say 20 new taxes will affect the poor, middle class and senior citizens as well as businesses and their ability to earn a profit to employ workers. That
