Obama vs. Obama on the Stimulus

President Obama told the American people in January that the stimulus would work immediately in his sales pitch to Congress. Now that it’s failed to produce jobs — and the 9.5% unemployment rate is worse than the administration’s projections — Obama is changing his talking points. This is how you lose credibility, Mr. President.

more of this side by side comparisons of “that was then, this is now” Obama statement expiration date examples. These can’t even be “taken out of context,” though I suspect that will be the crying response. To put all in one video would almost be a full length feature film. nice post!

LOL! At 1.06 in the commercial our dear leader even pulled out his “Let me make myself perfectly clear” line.

Wonder if Obama’s learned what a P/E ratio is?

…because this bill ws intended fromt he beginning to expand the power of government, exacerbate the economic situation and make people believe that the President and Congress were “doing something.”

Problem is, they were telling us they were trying to stimulate the private sector and save jobs.

If that had actually been their intent, this bill would never have been submitted let alone passed.

Growth occurs where people have an incentive to invest. We now have a declining dollar, the second highest tax rates in the industrialized world, every increasing government power and a President who seems to think corporations are his playthings.

Let me make myself perfectly clear: The “stimulus” bill was meant to damage our economy and make the voters more desperate (and therefore pliable) for more increases in government power.

Even somebody with a very basic, high school understanding of economics knows that the items I listed above are deterrents to investment. They also know that investment drives growth.

The only other explanation that makes any sense at all is that President Obama and every other person in his Administration, as well as any member of Congress who voted for the bill, is a complete rutting moron.

Actually, I consider both equally likely.

Pardon my strong language, but this is so simple that my 8 year old niece gets it.
