Sarah Palin is coming to Washington, IL April 17th

While I am definitely not a Palinista, I DO like the lady. So I was pleased to find out that she’ll be coming to speak in Washington, IL on April 17th.

She’ll be at the 5 Points Conference Center and the stated topic for the night is “You don’t need a title to make a difference”.

Tickets are a bit expensive in my opinion, ranging from $75 for balcony seating to $200 for a banquet dinner seat ($1500 for a table of 8). The Banquet seats include a signed copy of “Going Rogue”. I understand total seating is about 1000 (though I haven’t verified this).

I will NOT be going to this event. I currently can’t afford $200/person dinners, but for those who can, this is an opportunity to see Sarah.

P.S. I live about 5 miles from this facility. If any RS regulars are coming to town for this let me know. Maybe we can get together for a beer.

if Palin’s crowd and popularity shrink because of her support for McCain’s re-election bid. I suspect it will, if the wildfire against it on the wild web is any indication.

I guess the McCain stuff had no significant effect.

I thought the tickets were to steep, but at least 1000 didn’t agree.

… I guess she still plays well in Peoria.
