Hoffman and the final push

Unless you’ve been in a political coma, you know about the three way race in NY-23 between Owens(D), Scozzafava(R?) and Hoffman(Conservative Party).  The election takes place on November 3rd, 9 days from now.  You probably know by now that the endorsements break down as follows -

Owens-

  • President Obama
  • DNC

Scozzafava-

  • NRCC
  • RNC
  • Newt Gingrich
  • DailyKOS
  • Margaret Sanger Award

Hoffman-

Looking at those lists, which candidate do you feel more comfortable with?  This race has become the testing ground.  How effective and influential are we as conservatives?  I challenge everyone reading this to give $50 to Doug Hoffman’s campaign today, then post below to encourage others about what you are doing.  If you can give more or can only give less, go for it.

If you can find the money but choose not to give, don’t complain in the future when the National Republican Apparatus continues to ignore our wishes and the winning path of conservatism.  Everyone already knows that Scozzafava can NOT win this race, it is just not possible.  She is a horrible candidate and does not have the support of her base.  The NRCC is only still supporting her because it refuses to admit its mistake.  Hoffman can win, and his winning will echo throughout the corridors of power, both within our party and without.

He also needs our prayers! I’m not sure how many of you are familiar with the Catholic church, but we have a special prayer called a novena that is prayed for nine days when you need a lot of help battling something, sickness, etc. Well, with 9 days left, I encourage you all, Catholic or not, to pray a special prayer for Doug Hoffman and his pro-life views that mirror the views of the church win this election over his two pro-choice opponents.

Rightfully located in the #1 spot!

Folks, I have to apologize for Rush Limbaugh’s guest host today (Monday, 10-26). Rush, without formally endorsing Hoffman, has spoken at great length in his favor. Today’s guest host, Mark Davis, is from my home area (Dallas, TX) and is frequently right, but also frequently has his head up his butt.

Today before Rush’s 20 million, he trotted out the NRCC party line, just as he did last Friday on the local market.

So on behalf of all the North Texas bunch here, I apologize for the wishy-washy verbal bilge spilled by Mark Davis at this crucial time.

I put my money where my mouth is.

I did it online. The nice thing about it is then you get the Hoffman campaign’s e-mails providing updates on Hoffman’s progress.

    Thank you.

I couldn’t go for as much as I’d like–too little income and too many people asking. Of the three days I worked last week, the gross from one of them has been given to worthy causes. Doug is as worthy as they come.

This is the ONLY way a third-party candidate can work. He may split the vote and “lose” a Republican seat, but even if the Republican, Dede, wins, we lose the seat to a true liberal/progressive. A Hoffman victory in this race will send a message that only the most obtuse Republican Pol can miss–we need to go MORE conservative, not less.

If every Conservative can help Doug get over the top we’ll have a huge victory and send these dems scurrying. Moreover, we’ll embolden the conservative movement to reach even higher goals for 2010 (but dumping Pelosi and Reid which should be the ultimate 2010 goals).
