Reverse Psychology? ….

I have found this journolist meme this week very interesting “It might be good for Obama if he loses the House”. First off, if the Corrupt Media NO Erica it will be good for America is pushing that then surely what he has done in office is so OFFENSIVE as to warrant the House being flipped to contain him. I have heard many Conservative commentators say the same thing. I have to question the validity of such an argument. It is true that Bill Clinton triangulated after the 1994 House takeover, however the difference between 1994 and 2010? the internet. If there had been the instantaneous ability of Americans to gather the news through new media as there is today, I truly believe Clinton would not have made it through a second term. In 1994-96 the Corrupt Media still maintained 90% CONTROL of the airwaves. It is not enough to claim that in the environment of new media that the TRUTH will not escape in 2010.

It is a brave new world and in that world the MASSES are rejecting serfdom in search of FREEDOM. I believe that if 2008 were like 1994 Obama would have won by larger margins because of the complete news containment of the big three (not anymore). WE Conservatives have the biggest opportunity in my lifetime to return the Country back to its right of center leanings. The RINO’s are being let go in the primaries and Conservatives who are about to advance on DC will being taking a hard right to get us just back to the MIDDLE!.

I could see “some” who listen to the meanderings of those who say it would benefit Obama to perhaps not vote for a Republican House takeover but I would encourage those who think that sitting it out so as not to benefit him to envision what an EMBOLDENED Obama with a Democrat Congress will do to what is left of the FREE MARKET and CAPITALISM in America. I am sure other generations, especially under Jimmy Carter must have felt that their next election was the biggest ever to save America but I submit that November 2, 2010 is the election of OUR lifetime. The ability to keep the Republicans WE already have and to add 80+ would be a total REJECTION of progressivism. It is up to WE The People of the United States of America to tell the hateful, pathetic progressives that WE REJECT their idea of what America is and to place America back as that Shining City on a Hill America the Beautiful

    that it would help the O if the R’s took over the house. I can’t get into that thinking. It’s true that the R’s in the House can’t expect to pass much, even if we had a majority in the Senate as well, because the O would veto anything the R’s passed. We can’t possibly get enough R’s elected in 2010 to gain supermajorities, and make it veto proof.

    What I believe can happen is to not fund the O’s disasters. The House is in charge of the pursestrings. That is about it. The Dems will then scream that the R’s are holding up any progress, and of course it will still be Bush’s fault also.

    The most important thing the R’s can do with a House majority will be to put forth rational realistic and very necessary plans. If some good legislation passes in the House, and the still D controlled Senate kills everything, then they can be tagged as the party of NO, but not in a good way. We really really need to address the issues that the O and his Progressives have tried to take control of. The House must pass Ocare repeal legislation, as in the 112th Congress is when people will be starting to feel the pain of that disaster. We must address entitlement reform, the country is more receptive to it now, more than ever. We must pass a Republican bill for Immigration reform, without granting 20 million illegals amnesty. We must start defunding the over bloated Government programs, and lessen the Federal Gov. employee numbers, as we cannot become Greece. That’s just for starters.

      would NOT be good for O–is he is not CLinton—meaning that the Bozo knows not how to triangulate. He knows how to fight like the community agitator he is and he knows how to bully and go around the rules. So dont expect a Republican congress to be good for O.

    We must make sure the Left can’t use any majorities we gain as a weapon against us; they’ll be looking for campaign fodder over the next two years to save Obama. They will try to use peoples’ short memories, though I doubt that this time the people will fall for it. As you said, Jaded, there is the new media out there that circumvents the cover-ups of the malignant media.

    Another extremely important result of at least a House win for us– would be the cascade of investigations we can start up against the corrupt members of this admin. Start turning over the rocks and see what crawls out from under them.

    Third point, we hope to send real reform minded GOP activist congressmen to the 112th Congress. Hopefully, new members with principles to stand up against the politicians that have brought us to the brink of disaster.
