Change Jar Conservative — My second donation — American Crossroads

Prologue

In the first of my posts, I talked here about using your change to take back America and here I discussed why Jon Raese was my first of two donations.

Instead of giving my second donation to someone I picked up off of the list for RCP, I went ahead and sent the money to Karl Rove and American Crossroads.

Why American Crossroads and not an individual donation?

There were several factors that lead to me going against what I said about giving to someone on the “tossup” category of RCP’s house list (my plan as outlined).

  • The first (and this was only a mild push) was Obama’s rant against American Crossroads.

  • The second was a Moe Lane side note that basically “Hey my (stupid) conservative friends. You can’t figure out who to give money to just by watching what I post on the front page. You need organizations like American Crossroads that figure out who needs money full time.” ( I looked for 15 minutes for the post but couldn’t find it).

  • The third was Dick Morris’s rant (yes that Dick Morris has some good things to say) about the fact that the Republicans might shooting low

  • The fourth was American Crossroads big boost in fundraising after the Obama comments.

It’s time to win, it’s time to give, it’s time to turn out

Empty your change jar and get that money into the hands of the people who need it.

    Use facebook to promote turnout.

There are some seats that might be up this election and not again for another 20 years.

Incumbancy has power and that is a power that we need to seize while we can.

to your second pick, because it will be a cold day in hell before I give one hard earned dime to Karl Rove…..he makes me sick!

“Some seats may not be up again for another 20 years? In guess in the world of Oz, some may be in that realm, that escapes any logical explanation. I’m going to live until I am 250 years old also. Hummm.

Oz’s postings here have been very pro-moderate, and please support the Republican elites, because they have insider knowledge that we unwashed are just not privy to. I’m actually wondering if OZ is not a Cornyn or McConnell staffer. The comments have been getting more and more telling. After all, Rove still has the ear of the insiders, who adopted his destruction of the Republican party.

Oz, your suggestions are laughable at best.

If your posting wasn’t so amusing, I might be upset.

          I am pro-life, pro-small government, and very, very pro-conservative.

The one place I tend to deviate from the GOP crowd is that I don’t think we should outsource all of our jobs to India. It just doesn’t fit with my “America First” agenda.

I’m not sure what you are referring to re: moderate stances unless you are talking about supporting Fiorina and Castle. That’s called “supporting people who can win.”

I will admit though that enough of the pro-O’Donnell arguments that have floated around have made me re-consider whether or not it was a good idea rather than the bad idea that I first believed.

When was California’s Senate seat last up and available?

When was the last time that Dingell spent money on Ads?

When was the last time that Barney Frank wasn’t a safe Democrat?

If you don’t think this is a once in a twenty year opportunity to retire Democrats then I can only conclude that you have not been involved in politics for a long time.

Elections where you can cut the other side down and and drive stakes through the hearts of their supporters are few and far between. Enjoy this one …..

          I know that I will.

Thanks for your support on my previous postings. They have not gone unnoticed.

As for your not supporting Karl Rove, I am also upset at his comments post New Jersey.

However, his organization IS pounding money into house races that no one else is funding and I’m all about winning.

to help Republicans win by any means possible is fantastic. Thanks for the idea of cashing in those change jars. It’s a great idea and will do the same. I won’t send to Rove’s people this cycle, I think it’ll go directly to Bob Turners campaign. I can’t find any good polling with his race against Wienerface so I have no idea where he stands. But I gotta hope that any little bit can’t hurt.

Rove can join Newt Gingrich in the penalty box. Except their penalty doesn’t run before…2021, if they’re lucky.

card and condemn him to DC and NYC where he could continue to hold forth with his pals at FOX and the NRSC.

Sheesh, he’s just so desperate to stay in the game.

I agree on your opinion regarding Rove regarding his primary choices and his virtrol assessment of O’Donnell.

But you have to give the guy props for helping raise $40 million+ for our house candidates.

If this turns out to be a +75 night for the Republicans instead of a +45 night, Rove and his ilk will deserve some of that credit.

I don’t plan to contribute, but I will be interested in the report as to which races the money got spent on – and how much is left over (and where will that go).

of Karl Rove and the money, honey was flowing to the candidates vis a vis sites like Redstate showing US the players in each State. I did do $19.50 to Dick Morris’s group He was in House races before Rove decided to even play because he has been the biggest cheerleader the Republicans and TEA Partiers have had since the Obamacare bill was being pushed through the Congress the FIRST time!

BTW its your money and I NEVER want to tell someone where they should or shouldn’t give money but Karl Rove is the biggest POS in the Political Class this election season and I would like to see him go away unfortunately he knows way too many more in the Political Class for that to happen.
