Besides, now we know that there is a religion for Obama. One that has him as a God.

  • Aaron Gardner

That video is so very disturbing. I mean I respect the office of President but that is just blasphemous to the extreme.

    Any estimates?

This should create even a greater distaste for the Cult of Big BRObama, assuming that people learn about it! Lots o’ Luck that Katie or Brian or Charlie will cover this tonight!

Glenn Beck has promised to follow up on this tonight on his TV show: his radio show is also centered on it now: if you receive it delayed, you can still catch it during its second hour.

that it really was worship the state. So to that end Communism is a religion and not a simple anti theist system. This really not different that it was in the 1st Century with all the pagan religions. The proves that there are people that worship the state.

More Cult of Personality. My goodness, what is wrong with these people? Honestly, you have to be dumber than a bag of hammers to do this sort of thing.

  • Aaron Gardner

You have to have sold your soul to the One™. It’s makes one wonder how many out there really believe he is some sort of god.

    Thanks for the reco.

    “Obamessiah”

    or

    the Antichrist.

Either one seems to fit so well, in this context.

She connects the dots between Obama and Gamaliel.

From 1985 to 1988, he worked for a subsidiary of the Chicago-based Gamaliel Foundation, founded on the principles of Saul “The Red” Alinsky. He worked as a consultant and trainer. On the board of Gamaliel sat Northwestern University professor John L. McKnight, a student of Alinsky’s radical tactics. While at Gamaliel, McKnight became Obama’s mentor in community organizing.

As we have noted, when Obama worked for Gamaliel, he was paid by the Woods Foundation, which supported the radical group. Obama would later serve on the Woods Foundation board with terrorist and socialism advocate William Ayers. McKnight schooled young Obama in the gospel according to Alinsky. He apparently saw much promise in the budding politician, a way to advance Alinsky’s radical socialist agenda into the highest levels in government.

the State. I see blasphemy, sacrilege and Communism in this. All three. There is also an irony here. My perception of our African-American people is that they take their religion seriously and have a very personal relationship with the Lord. Can they not see that elevating and exalting Obama, is replacing God?

Deifying Obama is not the stuff of fiction. I also recall an article by Oliver North (I think it was posted on Foxnews.com). He was recounting being stuck in traffic due to Obama’s motorcade. This was before the election. North described how several motorists jumped excitedly from their cars and shouted, “It’s Obama, It’s the messiah.” North was of the opinion that the excited motorists were not employing sarcasm. It was genuine adulation.

Congrats on the promotion too! In my humble opinion (that and a buck fifty will get you a cup of coffee!), RedState would benefit greatly with you as a regular front-pager.

they will seek to fill the void in their souls much like the Israelites who, lost in the wilderness, raised graven images and fashioned idols of gold to worship.

Sorry, I couldn’t watch it all the way through. And, much like the others, I’m glad it’s on the front page and not a red hot.

    So it fits.

and you are correct to call this a “terrible malignancy”. We are not, and should not be, a nation that put’s their faith in a single man or woman.

I think I agree with Rep. Franks when he said that Obama is an enemy of humanity.

Now this was posted by a liberal group but that doesn’t change the fact that Rep Franks is 100% correct.

Obama is the golden calf….will Moses come off the mountain and melt it down in 2012? I pray to the GOD he will.

to stall some of the planned agenda while we wait for “Moses” to return.

When I first watched this I was outraged. However, I listened to it several more times without looking at the screen, just listening and I am pretty sure they are saying ‘O God.’ There are a couple of times that are still pretty close to Obama, but those are the times when the people are saying it are less in unison. So while I think there is a personality cult around Obama and people basically worshiping him, I do not think this is an example of that.

  • Aaron Gardner

While there are a few people who may be saying “Oh God” they are not the majority in that group.

  • sbpkwlg

Respectfully, I will have to disagree. The first two, especially the second, do sound like Obama, but after that you can clearly hear O God. To me it sounds like the first time the people clearly did not end together in saying anything to the point where it does sound like Obama, so you hear it in the rest. Like a lot of the people here I have been in churches where they do pray like this or have heard responsive readings and if someone watched a video with bad sound quality of us, it would be hard to understand. I could be wrong, but I honestly think that a majority of the people are saying O God.

  • Aaron Gardner

Personally I think invoking his name once in the place of God is wrong.

  • sbpkwlg

Sorry, I did not mean to imply that it would be right at any point. I can hear Obama in the first two, but I honestly don’t think that’s what they are saying. Hearing the later times where, in my opinion, they are saying O God makes me think that it is the sound quality and acoustics that make it sound like Obama. I

  • Aaron Gardner

So to them praising Obama is not idolatry. And regardless of acoustics or out of sync repetition I find it hard to make a soft “A” sound out of a “D” sound, i.e. Obam”a” versus Go”d”. Unless the people saying it all say God”a”, which is abnormal to say the least.

While I have not read much of Alinsky, his and Gamaliel

May he take a long walk off a short pier to show us if he can walk on water.

Religion that worshiped the state. It’s amazing that many don’t seem to see that, they still think that Obama and the Dems don’t believe in Worship the state. The African-Americans(or just Americans) or useful idiots on to way to this. On another point, whats old becomes new again.
