Crist’s Boy Greer Goes Down

Reports are all over the net pointing to the ouster of Jim Greer as the Chairman of the Republican Party of Florida. Greer is a Crist loyalist, hand picked by Crist presumably to provide the needed support for his Senate aspirations for 2010.

After months of interference in the Republican primary Party members in Florida have decided it’s time for Greer to go. Not a second too soon if you ask me.

So where does that leave the RPOF? Good hands, that’s where.

The overwhelming speculation is that John Thrasher, who was supported by Jeb Bush, will be taking over the Party.

This is good news. Celebrate by donating to Marco Rubio.

These are the fruits of our activism.

P.S. Send the hate mail to the contact form. I probably won’t address them, but at least you will have felt that you spoke truth to power.

Greer submitted his resignation letter effective latter part of February, citing the “small but disruptive few” who wish to destroy all the progress he and the RPOF have made. I wish him well in his future endeavors and now it is time to move on.

  • fpete13527

….and all who have turned up the heat in Florida to get new RPOF chiar.

Now it’s time to QUICKLY secure Marco Rubio….and all other conservative candidates here in Florida… and around the country…….AND…simulatanesoulsy bombard the discracefull DEM/WH SOCIALIST/COMMUNIST/terrorost supporting initiatives (IE all their initiatives)….AND….ensure that all RINOs are put to rest….FOREVER.

…AND unleash an avalanche like has never been seen in history..NOW.

  • RedBeard

…an old pessimist like me to remain 100% pessimistic. If this keeps up, I might even wind up with a glass half full, and be required to smile.

Oh, and yes, time to donate to Rubio, as a sort of exclamation point after the news of Greer’s departure.

  • yoyo

We are RELEVANT. RS/Erick actually MATTER. Come on, Marco!

Now, if I could only do something about my Sr Senator, Lindsay Graham… But I digress.

You have to read some of the comments in the article that profiled Erick from Tampa/St Pete. In a nutshell, we Conservative Activists are the most vile/evil/putrid/heartless/expletive/expletive/expletive bunch in the world. We are all that is wrong with America today. I don’t think I have ever seen so much name calling since middle school.

All of those comments just make me smile and they warm my heart. The juvenility of it all lets me know that they are thinking of me. The unjustified rage assures me that I matter. ‘:o)~

    Read them here…

Rubio stated he would have taken the stimulus money too!

Why elect a RINO senator or governor again?

Stay home, don’t vote and let the Republican party figure out why they aren’t getting any of our money or our votes.

  • chbroussard

    CAN YOU HEAR US NOW??

  • antisocial

    .

  • gekster

    Thatsa winning strategy?

  • Aaron Gardner

If you can’t tell the difference between the two, then you should certainly follow your own advice and not vote. Ever.

  • Brian Hibbert

The only message the Republican leadership gets from losing elections is that their candidate isn’t far enought to the left.

And Rubio isn’t a Rino, but I assume you already know that and are trying to stir up FUD.

  • Streiff

stupidity is a bannable offense on this site. You’ve used up your only warning on this.

  • JadedByPolitics

in our NEW Republican Party….the bottom line is any JERK who calls for EVER sitting on their you know what EVER again and puts us in this position of having to fight for the very Constitution should be relegated to obscurity and any time I see your name I will know that STUPIDITY has spoken out loud!

RINO’s are a dime’s worth of difference between LEFTIST’s….WAKE UP tool!

    A.K.A. The Libertarian Party.

You know, the one that loves to lose so they can sit around smoking hemp and saying, “See, I told you so.”

  • Aaron Gardner

they are doing it wrong. Just sayin’ ;)

  • acat

This is a Big Deal. This is wonderful news.

Good riddance to Crists’ boy, and good luck to Rubio!

Seriously, though. We don’t stop here. We *can’t* stop here.

    Who’s next?

  • yoyo

We are an ACTIVIST group/site/blog, right?

So, “stay home, don’t vote” is not really a concept many here would tend to advocate, right?

So why is it that so many “individuals” post ideas – such as this one – here? Are they just plain “mentally disabled?”

    Just wondering.

And sorry, it was FOUR quick questions.

  • Aaron Gardner

Here is one of his primary opponents.

  • http://www.nighttwister.com NightTwister

Contrary to what they try to tell us…

  • 10ksnooker

After all the pushing. Florida activist sends greeting to the rest of the country, you can fight the establishment.

Marco Rubio he is a true blue Conservative with fresh ideas.

PS: Crist has quite running those lying “I am a conservative” ads in SWFL … They didn’t work, just made people really mad.

  • http://www.nighttwister.com NightTwister

They pretend to engage you in discussion, but at the end of the day, they want to lose so they can continue to complain about how the country is all screwed up by both Parties.

They’ll never vote Republican, so it’s not worth the ASCII to even engage them.

  • http://www.hakubi.us/ Neil Stevens
  • Streiff

staying home isn’t an activist. Encouraging someone who advocates that position to adhere to their own advice is a public service aimed at raising the aggregate IQ of the electorate.

    Hope that helps.

  • yoyo

Why try to advocate something that NO ONE here would even bat an eye at?

They must know by now that they would get a better reaction mixing antifreeze with gasoline.

    WHAT is the point?

You’ll have to imagine the thin, whiny voice in the above quote, interspersed with the hacking cough brought on by the last bong hit.

However, I don’t possess the chevrons on RS to be as OVERT as you and others and still get away with it.

Thank you for responding to my question and HAMMERING home my intended point for Erp and all others.

We are conservative ACTIVISTS. Standing still or staying home by is not in our playbook!!!

  • Swamp_Yankee

I agree it was beyond stupid.

But it also displays the error of some the arguments used to attack so called RINOS.

Not everything that seems more conservative is a better alternative. There have been multiple posters around pushing the notion that Kelly Ayotte was “for stimulus” because she accepted earmarked funds as attorney general. Peter Schiff’s libertarian loons are also making the same arguments.

They apply this stupid, unrealistic purity test that no one who has ever actually had to govern or legislate can meet. But it okay for the super conservative fringe because they never had to govern or legislate anything. They are just armchair cheerleaders. A bunch of pathetic wind bags.

I’ve been called RINO numerous times for defending people who actually did the tough busines of governing by clueless internet cowboys.

    Just saying

Its bullcrap. I hope this standard is applied uniformly.

  • Aaron Gardner

I am pretty sure that standard is applied uniformly.

  • ashen

    again…haha

in the Reagan administration and, 2) I don’t recall *ever* going to a candidates website and seeing the correct and thorough exposition of the limitation(s) placed on the Federal government by the 10th Amendment be the *first* ‘issue’ addressed.

So, what’s the buzz in UT about his chances? Eager and the Tea Party guy (his name’s escaping me at the moment) would both be an improvement over Bennett but I *love* what Lee had on his website (and like I said, his dad was rock solid so he’s breathed this stuff for his entire life).

Bennett a rock-solid moderate in a deep red state. On a personal level, after spending countless hours while I lived in UT writing missives to his office about his latest apostasy, I will do *anything* to contribute this ‘good ol boy’s’ demise. So, if anyone can let me know if he’s got a chance or a decent campaign organization, please let me know. I’ve got a portion of my ‘Obama’s gonna get it anyway’ fund earmarked to go to *somebody* in UT who’ll take Bennett out and who won’t be just as ‘Senatorial’ as he.

And I know that some of the 9.12 leaders are advocating to their members to become precinct committeeman in Florida.

On a related note, just got word that that the AZ GOP just canceled it’s long-scheduled Jan. 9 annual picnic due to unspecified “scheduling conflicts” — no doubt because the RINOs were afraid of the earfuls their were going to get from some of the new conservative PCs who are not timid and ask hard questions whenever they get face time with the incumbents.

    Thank you.

This is what Reagan had to say in ’75:

A political party cannot be all things to all people. It must represent certain fundamental beliefs which must not be compromised to political expediency, or simply to swell its numbers.

I do not believe I have proposed anything that is contrary to what has been considered Republican principle. It is at the same time the very basis of conservatism. It is time to reassert that principle and raise it to full view. And if there are those who cannot subscribe to these principles, then let them go their way.

Nowhere does Reagan say the Republicans should resort to fragging, however.

here in Florida a rabble rousing band of malcontents, tightly connected to the RLC have been os ostracized, they have been ejected from the GOP and now have failed so miserably in getting Ron Paul elected (you know that guy who lives on the same yacht as L.Ron Hubbard) that they had to hi-jack the term “Tea Party” to form another political party here in Florida.

Their platform – if bullies beat you up in school, elect Ron Payl.
If Southpark made fun of your hero (L.Ron Hubbard) – elect Ron Paul
If you were born with faulty shromosomes, it is Republicans fault, elect Ron Paul.
If you are not in the favored class slated to reveive trillions of government giveaways designed and passed by Democrats – it is the Republicans fault – elect Ron Paul.

What I want o know is this, which one you here teased these guys on the playground? Was it you Kenny? You have created a monster.

  • Martin Knight

This may sound shallow but one of the first things I notice about a candidate is his/her website. If it’s well designed aesthetically, makes good use of multimedia and is easy to navigate, I tend to think it speaks to the candidate and his campaign’s ability to run and win an election.

Chris Christie and Bob McDonnell (in fact that was the first thing I noted about the McDonnell campaign) both had very nice clean websites. McCain 2008 – not so much.

Mike Lee has a nice clean website. Wish I could say the same for Cherilyn Eagar.

poltical party desperately trying t get a platform to ELECT RONULAN PAUL. Please join gthem and leave us in peace

“ALL YOUR RON PAUL ARE BELONG TO US”

  • AceInTX

I think those comments are so ignorant and contradictory that its a Huff Po seminar Blogger who dropped a turd to set everyone off about the smell…I say Hinz Rule the guy and forget it…that comment isn’t even worth the effort of swinging a blam stick!

  • AceInTX

turn it around on them…make them expose themselves even more when they refuse to attend YOUR meetings!

  • http://www.theprecinctproject.wordpress.com ColdWarrior

a conservative PC caucus within the Party itself.

We’ll have a better sense of our strength after the mandatory county meetings in a couple of weeks where “at large” members are elected by the PCs to serve on the County Executive Guidance Committees.

If the conservative candidates win, then we’ll know we’ve made some progress.

    Thank you.

I wish we could get a good group together in Bexar County but the party has been so fractured here for so long it’s hard to know who to talk to and who to believe when you do talk to someone

  • Brian Hibbert

You always wind up getting the person you like LEAST in office if you split the vote or stay home.

  • yoyo

    - I was that Jerk on the flight deck that made them WORK or “go below.”
    – AND, I used to steal all of their “Final Checks” on Cat 2.
    – AND, I used to safety wire their boots together when they slept in the shop.
    – AND, I pulled rank and jumped ahead of them for email privileges after work, at sea.

It was I who created this monster. I made them work and EARN their privileges.

    Sorry.

  • RedBeard

What a deluded fool, if he really believes that nonsense.

  • sarge324

no doubt about it the party is true to the people.we will win in 2010.and bring back some sanity, and the constitution to the government and the american people.stay mad,and throw the criminals out.my state new jersey have all the criminals we could handle.all the congressmen and the senators who voted for that bill will be voted out.

  • dudette

I like Levin the Great one’s advice: Vote early and often, and for all my Demcrat friends remember, your day to vote is Wednesday, not Tuesday, hardy har har

  • rickcaston

very survival of our Republic is at stake we do not stay home in order to “punish” RHINOs or anyone else. Taking back our country by destroying the Demoncrat majority is paramount. If we end up having to put up with a few folks that cause our blood to boil (Lindsey Graham) from time to time then so be it. Stay focused on the goal. The people of SC, Arizona, and other states with RHINO problems should be left to take care of it themselves. We must crush the enemy this fail. Nobody stays home! Nobody!

  • proudtexasgirl

to know that being conservative causes so “many” to go into apoplectic fits.

IF “I” – a fiscally responsible, working class, educated (associates, bachelors, and masters in progress), voting, mother of nine married to my children’s father (oooh, scarey scenario I know) who also works and is educated (working on his masters and professional certifications) that believe in God, America (the Republic for which we stand), community service, helping less fortunate even when we don’t have, blah, blah, blah etc. is what is wrong with America – then God forgive me because I would rather be wrong every day for the rest of my life that be what they consider “right”.

  • neyney

My maiden name was Crist and I’m a staunch conservative. Crist is a disgrace to my name and I hate it. People who knew me before I got married are always asking me if I’m related to him because I have relatives in Florida. I cannot wait until Rubio takes this a==wipe down and I can have peace again in my life. Crist is an epic fail and the worst kind of politician.

  • GenEarly

Greer, Crist, Mack-Bono, Pork-Young, and others have created the mess we are in and must be replaced with constitutional conservatives or the republican party of Mccain-Grahmnesty can become a 3rd Party!

  • eburke
  • GenEarly

Republican primary vote Bill “Pork” Young OUT! Young has been in congress forever voting pork for his district ( and agreeing to vote return pork for other members districts) So now we the residents of Pinellas (District 10) can say NO to the nanny state, put our votes to preserve the Constitution, and vote FOR a Constitutional Conservative:
ERIC FORCADE for Congress in 2010.

  • http://twitter.com/JoeKenHa joekenha

I kick myself every time I see Crist’s name. I voted for him when he first ran…seemed like a good choice, but never again. Lesson learned, and what a hard lesson it was.

  • utah_1

    @eburke

Mike Lee will prove over the next 30 days that he has the beliefs, the organization, the endorsements and the fundraising to beat Bennett and return this red state of Utah back to the principles we hold dear and to turn away from those RINOS like Bennett. I can guarantee that your campaign contributions will be used as Conservatively as Mike will legislate, which is very much so. If you wish for more information, get me your contact info and I will get you anything that you need. Thanks!
