That is one of the most original videos put out in the last 20 years. Kudos to the mind behind it!

Would someone on here enlighten my behind the times self what NT means. I am itching to use it since I have seen so many use it, but have no clue as to what it means and how to use it properly.

    Thanks in advance!

If you don’t have a comment beyond just the title of your comment you put NT in the title. This allows you to have an empty comment body.

So I work here in downtown Chicago, and my building decides to participate in LifeSource’s “Skyscrapers for Life” citywide blood drive today. I make an apointment to go during lunch, head up there, hand over my license and proceed to answer a TON of questions (everything from prior sexual contact to ear piercings, recent prison stays, etc etc).

Two of the less-invasive questions were “have you ever served in the military?,” and “did you spend more than 6 months in Europe between 1980 and 1990?”. Being a proud Cold War veteran who served with a nuclear missile battery in Germany, I answer yes to both.

Lo and behold, I’m informed that I am “permanently disqualified” from EVER donating blood, due to the FDA and CDC’s concern about Mad Cow. MAD COW?!?!?!?!?!?

The nurse is unable to provide me with any further information, other than to say that sort of me dying and having my brain tissue examined, there is no way to test for the presence of it, so those of us who served in Europe during the Reagan administration are now pretty much unable to donate blood, should we wish to.

It really wouldn’t bug me so much, except for the fact that I happily handed all the information on my driver’s license, INCLUDING the last 4 digits of my SSN to an entity that has now blacklisted me, and works closely with federal health agencies, who now have effective control over 1/6th of this country’s economy!!!! Oy vey.

They were very nice about it, and even offered me oreos and orange juice on my way out. I declined.

Maybe I shoulda taken ‘em after all, huh?

I donate regularly at an American Red Cross Blood Center. Their process is to have the potential donor read through a binder, consisting of about 10 pages, which explore in detail the kinds of questions you’re about to face. If you can’t answer the questions (to yourself) correctly, in order to stay within their guidelines, you’re advised that you are not eligible to donate BEFORE they’ve learned more than your name. The procedure must vary quite a bit when you go to a blood drive as opposed to a collection center. BTW, thank you for your service to our country!

…and I completely understand the necessity of determining as much of a history as possible, given that we’re dealing with blood here, after all.

I was just a little bummed that I wanted to help out, but now can’t. The whole rant about being “blacklisted,” so to speak, should be taken with a grain of salt. I can be a little petulant sometimes. :-)

Is is just me, or are consumers in your neighborhood depressed. Not just economically, but emotionally depressed?

Yesterday I zipped thru the neighborhood Target Store on a small errand, no customer had a happy face, no kids jumping around “Mom can I have this!”, no one pawing thru clothes racks anticipating finding some happy clothes — they might as all been army issue camo…

In other words, there is no rainbow power unicorns roaming the streets and stores around here. It’s pretty near all gloom and doom…

    What does Kolwalski mean?

I think I have the general idea, but I guess I’ll look stupid and ask.

If the MSM wasn’t humpin Obama we wouldn’t be on what appears to be the fast track to socialism. IMO they are the head of the snake and are as much a threat to our freedom as Obama. We need to share our frustration with them, individually.
    I’m jus’ sayin’

    Aaron, I appreciate your help!

being named for an esteemed writer who sometimes does what I often do: forget something important and remembering it after hitting the “post” thingy and being put in the humiliating position of having to ‘reply’ to one’s own post. I give you the–Kowalski!

Therefore, the MSM is the REAL problem. But what to do?

Most sensible people already ‘boycott’ the MSM just because their message is so blatantly biased, but they still have influence over the average Joes of America who are still asleep.
