Rush Limbaugh Throughout History

RedState Graphic Design Contest AND Open Thread

Rush Solo

General Contest Rules

In light of Rush Limbaugh’s 20 years of excellence, we are holding a graphic design contest in his excellency’s honor.

Here is the objective. Create a photoshop fakery of Rush Limbaugh in various famous scenes from history, fiction or sports. Put his head on a monument, his cigar on the moon, you name it. Choose an iconic image or setting and photoshop Rush into it.

The contest will run until the end of the day today. Winner will be decided by the RedState panel of judges … unless we can convince the mighty himself reach down from the heavens and annoint the victor, of course. There’s no store prize this time, just the priceless and eternal prize of victory.

Please Consider this an Open Thread!!

So have at it!

absentee is the quintessential conservative republican. It is scary to think what genius level he will acheive with increasing exposure to the lovable little fuzzball.

    hat size will increase!

The Wife™ and I went and saw Eric Church at the county fair last night. Man he rocked (though there was some sound problems during the first song, but they got it working). If you like a little country mixed with a whole heckuva lot of southern rock, go see Eric Church.

OK, I confess, I am photoshop illiterate. I have grand ideas but cannot put them to graphics.

So for this contest, these are the pictures I would submit, if I could — in all cases, Rush’s face replacing :

    • Tom Selleck in Quigley Down Under, a still shot of him gunning down the 3 guys at the end (captioned, “This ain’t Dodge City, and you ain’t Bill Hickok”).

    • Bruce Willis in Die Hard limping down the ramp, grimy, gritty, bloody, barefoot, with the (empty) submachine gun to face Hans Gruber.

    • Dick Butkus, from the QB’s vantage point, just before the snap of an icy, wintery game.

    • Some well-sculpted, muscular oil derrick hand on a rig, slinging pipe around.

    • One of the Marines on Iwo Jima who raised the flag in the famous scene.

    • From the movie 300, Rush as any Spartan, any scene.

I enjoy listening to Rush when I have time. He makes some good points and is funny. Though I don’t agree with everything he says, he is often on point and is entertaining. That doesn’t mean I can’t joke about his past peccadillos.
