Yanno, if people really buy what The One just proclaimed on TV

JustLeaveMeAlone Monday, February 9th at 9:21PM EST (link)

then I am hopelessly out of it.

Obama did not come across as dignified and presidential.

He is so extremely partisan — with his constant “Republicans do this,” “Republicans do that”. What happened to his being the president of everyone?

His view that government can solve problems is just SO wrong. It doesn’t work; it never has.

His fear-mongering is downright unethical. Mr Obama, you are no FDR.

Words fail me.

of course he has to concentrate on Republicans

He knows that if people look too closely they will see a thousand Democrat party factions sucking at the government teat and a pack of idiots without a clue in the world on how to handle an economy.

Push to make porn star a senator no stunt, fan says

NEW ORLEANS, Louisiana (CNN) — Fans of porn star Stormy Daniels are drafting her to run for the U.S. Senate seat in Louisiana now held by Republican Sen. David Vitter. And it’s no racy gimmick, they say.

There's a parody in here somewhere

I’m thinking ‘We are the pork, we are the earmarks’ to the tune of We Are The World, but my parody-fu is weak tonight.

I'm pretty disappointed in Steele so far

aesthete Monday, February 9th at 10:41PM EST (link)

I thought he would be fighting the good fight on the airwaves with a lot more regularity than he has been. I suppose it’s too early to say this for sure, but it looks like we’re going to have to endure another “phoning it in” leader in the RNC.

Has anyone heard anything from him since Hannity and Colmes?

“To be ‘cured’ against one’s will and cured of states which we may not regard as disease is to be put on a level of those who have not yet reached the age of reason or those who never will; to be classed with infants, imbeciles, and domestic animals.”
-C.S. Lewis

I wasn't a Steele fan either but it's way too soon to call him a failure

Michael Dugas Monday, February 9th at 11:01PM EST (link)

Mt problem with him is he seems way to moderate for my liking.
I am of the opinion that we lost our majority because our representatives stopped being conservatives and became professional Washington kool-aid drinking politicians.

We lost because our representatives didn’t represent us and they became hypocrites “speaking” as if they were Republicans but “acting” like Dimocrats. That’s a losing situation every time.

I know its to soon for failure, but

gekster Monday, February 9th at 11:16PM EST (link)

I know of three Senators who I hope he would be phoneing,
to remind them of why they call themselves Republicans.
And he should also be stating his push on them in the public forum.
I’m not saying he didn’t make the calls,
but it would be nice to see him doing something to root for.
Isn’t that his job?

A political party cannot be all things to all people.
It must represent certain fundamental beliefs which must not be compromised to political expediency, or simply to swell its numbers.

The Other White Meat.

War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things: the decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth a war, is much worse. A man who has nothing which he is willing to fight for, nothing which he cares more about than he does about his personal safety, is a miserable creature who has no chance of being free, unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself.

Intrusive government. Of course the Liberals have got to know that they cannot cram it all in one go. They must know that, otherwise they should lose big in 2010-2012.

Somoene pinch me, there is no way America is taking a walk into Big Brother Socialist totalitarianism….

As I listen to the Propaganda

bobojake Tuesday, February 10th at 12:33AM EST (link)

I felt like I was being raped by obama and i was suppose to like it.
As I fought back I could hear obama stuttering and stammering more then Caroline Kennedy. I have never been so ashamed of a President of the United States to have him stand up and lie and expect me to believe him. period.
