I know another woman politician like that.

      MOCKED! MALIGNED! LIED ABOUT!

… by an elitist culture and sadly….. even by her own kind.

But I know, I can see it in her, that she has so much potentials to make things better for all of us.

      • penguin2

I was just sitting here thinking that a parallel could be drawn between the story of Sarah Palin and Susan Boyle. Sarah was an ordinary person who came out of an ordinary life and when she came on stage and spoke, there was an incredible response. There must be a void and yearning that accounts for this response to the Sarah Palins and Susan Boyles of the world.

Again, I don’t want to debate the politics of Sarah’s situation, but I do want to say that it is obvious that her delivery of a message that had meaning to us ordinary folk became a catalyst.

“CHICAGO (AP) ? The husband of an Illinois congresswoman pleaded guilty Wednesday to tax violations and bank fraud for writing rubber checks and failing to collect withholding tax from an employee. ”

YEAH my IL TEA partiers get out there and call this piece of crap Congresswoman out on her hypocrisy!!!

Sort of missed the point, didn’t they?

Nobody asked the question, “Why didn’t the other networks cover an event that was country wide and involved maybe a million people?”

And, “If they had covered it, would it still have been a Fox News ‘thing’?”

And, if the only Fox News (sans the alphabet networks) covers the next Democrat National Convention, and they promote the fact that they will be there, does that make the Democrat Party an ‘Astroturf movement’?”

The fact that it’s a debating point on MSNBC simply proves that they want to undermine the authenticity of the grievances, which they don’t care to discuss.

It isn’t a tax cut if it isn’t permanent (at least relatively so). A check from the government isn’t a tax cut.

How many tea parties were there? If more than the 550+ estimated here, my guess at attendance would be about one million people, not the 200,000 I’ve heard elsewhere.

The Republican party didn’t organize this, but the smart ones will try to get in front of it. Surely, they aren’t dumb enough to buy the liberal press take on these events.

in a case where the people have lethal AK-47 weapons. Non-Lethal force is used in the case of unknown situations where either the ID on the enemy is not complete or possible or if the enemy or criminal is unarmed but beligerent. That is a danger to himself or others.

This story, makes more sense than what I have heard coming out of the media and the Obama administration. When this thing dragged on for days, I wondered to myself if they were following strict ROE or trying to utilized Non-Lethal to resolve the conflict. The length of time it took to complete the mission led me to believe that this was a case of ROE, Non-Lethal and Red Tape from the FBI and the adminsitration. The storyline spoken to on this video is very plausible. Very.

    • mbecker908

I can’t really make it out clearly enough to draw any conclusion. Also, who is speaking and is there a transcript?

      • DONTREADONME

so I had to listen carefully. My answer is speculation, just like the man speaking on the with maybe me having a little more understanding of NL ROEs and CONOPS of certain types of weapons. Giving the response time, this mans talk seems to have a sense of plausability, however, this may all be conjecture. Plus giving the response of the Seals, it seems definitly that the Navy Captain was getting tired of waiting and put together a quick rational for taking action, again conjecture, but plausible.

        • mbecker908

folks I’d take great pleasure in whacking the living daylights out of if I could document who is speaking, what the context is and get a transcript.

Being the “kill ‘em all and let God sort ‘em out” kind of guy that I am, you can just guess how I look at NL RoEs in any military situation. Given that the SEALs sat around on the ship for at least 48 hrs – and up to 72 hrs – before they finally took action, I’m guessing NLs are likely the cause.

      • DONTREADONME

you know and I know that the Marines and the Seals on board that destroyer would be jumping to take those three SOBs out the moment they were given the discretion. My belief is three Marines (or Seals) could have taken these guys out with a M16 and a ACOG at 300 meters or pulled a Mogadishu(spelling) in less time than it would take the pirates to blink.

        • mbecker908

I have friends who were SEALs and I can tell you a couple of things for sure.

First, this was, in the world of things these guys get called on to do, tiddly winks. I’m not taking anything away from a night para drop into the water, but they weren’t likely to be under fire, and even if they were, the probability that the shooters could have hit them was low. The seas were calm and the “target” was tethered about 30 meters from the Navy ship. The “bad guys” were lightly armed amatuers with no serious training and no serious weapons.

Second, the SEALs – and some of the Marines on board – could, with a Model 70 308 put the first shot inside a half-dollar at 300 meters. At 30 meters, they probably could have taken them out throwing the bullets. Bottom line, not a difficult shot that took 48+ hours to stage.

The idea that this went on for as long as it did is an outrage.

          • DONTREADONME

a Super SpOps in Q-Town, that is the Seals are SpOps.

Combine this kind of on-camera presence with Beaglescout’s “economic policy”, and you’ve got a winning ticket for 2012. Can you imagine him running with Sarah Palin? It would drive the libs NUTS!

I am proud of her answer, so what that many in the crowd were PO’d. Second, booing her answer goes to show you what kind of audience they were. I will stick up for her 100%, I believe marriage is between a man and woman, I say stop moving the darn reference line, it is what it is. Now get over it. Thanks for the information, i most likely would not have known about this.

She was being American through and through, to lose because of her answer (I do not know if this cost her) shows that the Obamanation of America is creeping.

Perez Hilton apparently gave her a zero, which knocked her to first runner-up. He also had a nasty rant on his blog this morning that Kelly played. Called the CA. contestant a “Christian (b word), with half a brain.”

The left has no sense of morality or shame. They are so filled with hatred, it is destroying them and our country.

for answering the question. How could you not get points for that, the only way I can see not getting any points is if you drop over dead. BTW if you drop over dead and make noise on the way down that is answering the questions.

Shameful, I call its disgraceful and appalling, she answered the darn question that in the left’s mind should have gave her at least 50%.

      Never mind Perez Hilton.

Enjoy your 15 minutes, sweetie; it’s all too fleeting.

Oh, and the profanity was such a classy touch. It really proved just how hip and with-it you are. The wearing black thing, however, doesn’t. While it can connote sophistication or childlike gothness, it’s also viewed as slimming by many people.

My grandfather had a tattoo from his days in the Army. I have one too — but not from the Army and not somewhere Grampa would have ever seen :) What on earth does that have to do with the price of tea in China?

And the whole generation gap schtick? That’s so 1968.

And last, the “some of my best friends are gay!” thing is patronizing and elitist. It you don’t know why, then you are even more clueless than I thought.

Honey, I have a flash for you. You aren’t “in politics”. Your father is. You are a still-wet-behind-the-ears kid with a trust fund. Go out and do something on your own, make it on your own, and have some real life experience — then come back. Maybe then you’ll have some street cred.

I think I hear that 15-minute timer going off.

How do people learn how to pretend to be a victim? What about all the other men in Somalia that don’t steal and kill for a living!! If he really is a teen she should be so embarrassed and telling her son he is fortunate to be in another country becasue she would ground him forever and apologizing the the captian and the crew for what he did!! ! Amazing no sympathy or anything for the family of the captain or the captian himself or the other men. I could see if she said please treat him with respect but she is being manipulative.

If they are that bad off how does she have access to communication equipment to give a report to the media for the president? She has to be educated to make statements like she did they are too I’m a victim like.
