    Interesting … images usually add a bit of shock value. There has been a lot of changes in this administration and it will be interesting to where it leads.

      to a socialist “utopia” if you happen to be a member of the nomenklatura. Do you plan to be a member of the nomenklatura?

      • barsrmerrill

        You seem to know quite a bit about a group I have never heard about are you a member?
        As you suggested in your title yes you are correct.

    To regulate Commerce (redacted: with foreign Nations, and among the several States, and with the Indian Tribes);

      You have to realize that the US is not a true democracy it is a democratic republic.
      The only way I can see to get more control is to get rid of career politicians and give more control to the people.
      Watching the news and noticing that there is a severe division between parties indicates that to me that politicians elected to represent the people that put them there but have more interest in representing themselves and needs.

        Seriously, it makes absolutely no sense. What did I say that led you to believe that I think the US is some sort of true democracy? Do you even know what I was getting at?

        This is what I would suggest:

        With exception to theTraffic in and out of a State, or through to a foreign Nation, another State, or a Indian Tribe, the Congress shall not regulate the Commerce within a State (regardless of the Effect of such Commerce) including but not limited to – the regulation of the Price or the Production of Commodities – or (except in Cases of Bankruptcy) the Negotiation and Conditions of Contracts or the impairment of Contracts or the Use of private Property – or the Conditions and Elements of Nature or that which may affect the same;

        Only During Wartime and upon Declaration of the same, for two year Terms as Victory requires it, may the Congress regulate the Commerce within any of the several States.

    Silences the noise.

    Frankly, what is sad is that I bet I could make one just as bad about Bush and the pro-massive-federal-government R-congress people like McConnel and the rest of them, on about half a dozen amendments or more that they love to violate in the bill of rights.

    …and I am a registered R.

      Don’t you think the biggest insult to personal freedoms were after 9/11 … do a search on sunset laws. If you have no problem with them I suggest you study German and world history 1938. It really is a troubling trend …besides I can’t do the goose step.

        What’s the term for the phenomenon we see in barsrmerrill’s post?
