On this day, the world lost a visionary. Andrew Breitbart has passed away at the far too young age of 43, leaving behind a wife and four children. We have had several contributors share their thoughts on this today. For my part, I’ve long admired Andrew Breitbart for being fearless, tireless, relentless, bold, committed … driven. Like most bloggers who have been to any sort of political event, I had the chance to meet Andrew. I never, however, got to know him personally, something which I will long regret. For those who knew and loved him, he will be missed as a friend, a parent, a husband .. for the man he was. For those of us who did not know him, the loss, too, is great and deeply felt. His was a voice that could not be silenced, a spirit that could not be suppressed … a show that could not be missed. And now he will be sorely missed. Andrew Breitbart was so vibrantly alive that it is a surpassingly difficult thing to imagine that he is gone. Being inadequate to the task of properly stating just how much we lost today, I include below links to those better equipped. Rest in peace, warrior.
