We must pre-empt this. The Romney campaign and Hill Republicans should watch out.

Day One, Job One. Repeal Obamacare.

For the first, it should be rather evident that all those public-sector job losses are on the state level, and the federal government has, in fact, expanded during Obama’s term, even if its growth has been constrained by fiscal troubles. Obama will not be able to claim any credit for it, though Romney certainly would not be able to blame Obama for the size of local government either, though he can continue to hammer Obama for his wasteful spending that only hinders the necessary local budgetary reforms and only serve as a band-aid. I think most people don’t believe that their state governments are too small at the moment.

For the second, I can’t find the stats, though I’d note that the AJA would cost more than $200,000 per job.

Alexander spoke at our Lincoln Day Dinner and it sounded like a eulogy. I took a very leisurely stroll throgh the hotel while he was talking.

Sometimes I think he just takes certain positions to make conservatives mad.
