Warning: What you are about to see is extremely disturbing. What you are about to hear is a terrible truth about America’s most heinous and prolific serial killer. This video is very upsetting.

That was read from the Grand Jury transcript. It is on the record. It is what happened.

The story of Kermit Gosnell is almost too difficult to bear. It is chilling to listen to. It is painful to think about. But that is why telling that story is so important.

That such monsters exist is one of the appalling truths of humanity. But no holocaust must go unremarked, undocumented. We must look upon what has been wrought and learn from it. We must question our own society’s complicity and responsibility for the slaughter.

Unfortunately, as streiff has previously reported here at RedState, not everyone agrees. As the producers put it:

Dr. Kermit Gosnell is the most prolific serial killer in American History, but almost no one knows who he is.
[…]
The mainstream media or Hollywood don’t think this is a story. Even though Gosnell killed more people than Gary Ridgeway, John Wayne Gacey, The Zodiac Killer and Ted Bundy combined. In a 30 year killing spree, it is thought he killed 1000s of babies. And that wasn’t a national story?

To make this movie, to tell this story, producers Ann McElhinney and Phelim McAleer are raising money in one of the largest crowd-funding projects ever undertaken. To contribute, visit www.gosnellmovie.com.

I cannot imagine anyone, pro-life or pro-choice, who could support what Kermit Gosnell has been convicted of doing, what he is serving prison time for doing, or the countless other murders for which he was never convicted. This is not about the left or the right. It’s about humanity. It’s about what we will tolerate. And it is about examining where we are, how we got here, and where we go from here. No one should oppose that. Not when so much is at stake. Not when you hear acts of cruel inhumanity like this.

Please, help make this movie. Help Ann and Phelim to tell the truth.
