    I still support Israel in the Gaza strip, and I still give the finger, figuratively, to 52.

    But I’ll look into a rewrite. The only problem, though, if I rewrite – totally rewrite — the Gaza diary, and insert Fredheadedness 5, about Russell Kirk’s 4th of 10, then there are about 60 people who reco’d a diary that now has a total new content, that the 60 people may or may not wish to have their name attached to.

    I don’t think I can do that, in good conscience.

    Now I might put a little new content in, directly related to Gaza. I mean, since my diary is there for all to see. What do you think?

      I considered the problem of all those posts not matching the current diary…but who cares…no one is reading the Reco list any more anyway!

    I know you were kidding, but unpublishing ain’t gonna happen. I believe in leaving URLs as they are so that people can find articles from Google and other web searches.

    Though the article itself is only 1400 words long, I could easily see adding another 2000 words to the “Right to life” vs “License to kill” article, on abortion alone. This is needed to answer some of the objections that were raised in the comments. Other moral quandaries would allow me to more fully develop a personal moral structure based on liberty, but I don’t see it going over 50-60 pages. Would such a small, philosophical book have any chance in the market? I suppose I could put it on LULU.com and let the market decide.

    With some assistance from George Claghorn, The rec list rewrite was done a week ago.

    It just needs testing before it can go live!

    I expect it to be settled around the 20th.

    First of all, with respect to the algorithm, I would offer that any diary written by Martin should be on the list for at least a month.
