So the RINO assault continues unabated against the Republican nominee for Senate in DE.

For me, the quote of the day came from O’Donnell when she pointed out she had a lead in the polls against the Dem before the Republican establishment decided to wipe the floor with her, throwing everything, including not only the kitchen sink but a heaping helping of sewage and waste as well followed for good measure by the plunger and a hand full of dishes.

This was followed by the inevitable…”She’s behind the Dem by 11 points and can’t win so you have no choice but to vote for Castle” meme.

Well the people weren’t buying. Turn Out for Republicans nearly doubled in this primary of previous ones…and O’Donnell won fair and square.

So Then we’re treated by Rove’s much reported assault on her followed by a statement from the NRSC saying they would not be supporting the nominee, (the flip flop today not withstanding…the statement was made)

Now the only thing left to be answered is if we can count on the RMSP candidate for Senate in DE to be gracious in defeat? Will he be a team player, and endorse the Republican Nominee?

Here’s your answer:

Mike Castle won’t endorse Christine O’Donnell

A senior aide to Rep. Mike Castle told POLITICO the nine-term congressman will not be endorsing newly minted GOP Senate nominee Christine O’Donnell.

“She is a con artist who won by lying about Castle’s positions and her own life,” said Kate Dickens, a Castle aide. “Out of state support was enough to pull her through yesterday so she can rely on it through November.”

Well Mrs. Dickens…it looks like that out of state support will indeed carry her through since it is being reported she has pulled in $500,000 today according to Drudge

So…it’s not enough to just withhold your endorsement….(Not that I’d want an endorsement of a Charlie Bass Liberal Republican anyway)….but Castle and company have to exit stage left all the while keeping up the assault on the nominee of the Party!

Now that I think about it….the final question isn’t whether Castle would endorse O’Donnell….There is one question yet to be answered…

“Will Castle and his minions stay on the reservation…or can we expect to see him follow Bennett, Crist, Scozaffava, and other RINOs in working for/with the Democrat to ensure O’Donnell’s defeat?”

Before Christine O‘Donnell even had a chance to deliver her remarks to accept the Republican Party’s nomination for the U.S. Senate, the National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) announced that the party’s fundraising organization would not be supporting the Delaware tea party favorite in the Nov. 2 election.

According to Fox News, Republican aides have confirmed that “O’Donnell would not be getting national fundraising support.”

Can you believe the tin ears and the thick headed arrogance of these clowns?

As was said in a thread I have read all evening here, no doubt, after leaving O’Donnell high and dry during the general election….we will be treated by the cacophonous howls from our betters at the RNC and the NRSC…”SEE”…”SEE”…”we told you she can’t win! Conservatives can’t win in DE and this proves it.”

Never mind the nasty and bitter way our Overlords trashed and smeared her….never mind the double dealings behind the scenes from the RMSP and their ilk to undermine and destroy the Republican nominee….Never mind the inevitable self fulfilling nature of the whole exercise…it will all be conservatives fault because we didn’t shut up and get in line.

The party’s coordinated spending limit for a Senate nominee in Delaware is $87,000. The RNC and the NRSC each have that limit so it is double that amount. $174,000 total. Since the party is saying they will cut her off, this will be SCF’s initial goal. We will likely raise her this money from grassroots by next week.

Let me introduce you to one Maximilien François Marie Isidore de Robespierre.

A simple declaration that a person was an enemy of the revolution from Monsieur Robespierre was oft all that was required to have one’s head removed from his shoulders by way of “The National Razor”

U.S. may sue Arizona’s Sheriff Arpaio for not cooperating in investigation

A federal investigation of a controversial Arizona sheriff known for tough immigration enforcement has intensified in recent days, escalating the conflict between the Obama administration and officials in the border state.

Justice Department officials in Washington have issued a rare threat to sue Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio if he does not cooperate with their investigation of whether he discriminates against Hispanics. The civil rights inquiry is one of two that target the man who calls himself “America’s toughest sheriff.” A federal grand jury in Phoenix is examining whether Arpaio has used his power to investigate and intimidate political opponents and whether his office misappropriated government money, sources said.

The standoff comes just weeks after the Justice Department sued Arizona and Gov. Jan Brewer (R) because of the state’s new immigration law, heightening tensions over the issue ahead of November’s midterm elections. The renewed debate has focused attention on Arpaio, a former D.C. police officer who runs a 3,800-employee department, and a state at the epicenter of the controversy over the nation’s estimated 12 million illegal immigrants.

Keep in mind, this is the Washington Post which is the propaganda arm of today’s version of Revolutionary France’s Committee of Public Safety but it’s worth the read even if the story is simply a steno-graphed version of DOJ talking points.

Bottom line is this…move the whole story forward 216 years. Instead of the accusation of being an “enemy of the revolution” now it is the only necessary to accuse a local law enforcement official of “civil rights violations” to bring today’s version of the “Committee of Public Safety” sniffing around in search of anything that can be found to justify the destruction and political death of Sheriff Arpaio. No use declaring your innocence…you are guilty until the committee decides whether you are guilty or not just before it sentences you to it’s pre determined penance

So, Secretary Holder….Today’s version of Monsieur Robespierre has his committee, in the form of DOJ Lawyers who will go down to Maricopa County and comb over every single arrest report of every single Latino that has been arrested, questioned, or convicted of any offense since the good Sheriff has been in office in order to trump up as many cases of civil “alleged” rights violations as possible.

The civil rights division’s investigation began in March 2009 and focuses on whether Arpaio’s department engaged in “discriminatory police practices and unconstitutional searches and seizures,” along with allegations that his jail discriminated against Hispanic inmates, according to letters the division sent to Arpaio. A complaint to the Justice Department said that even bilingual jail guards are required to speak to inmates only in English and that the rule could endanger prisoners’ medical care. The jail was also accused of forcing Hispanic visitors to fill out a “citizenship check” form, the letters said.

Add to this simultaneous DOJ investigations as to whether Arpaio ordered investigations of political opponents, (pot calling the kettle black?) and yet more federal investigations as to whether The Sheriff has misappropriated federal funds and it seems pretty clear to a casual observer that there is an all out push by the most powerful law enforcement official in the land who serves at the discretion of the President of the United States to destroy a man elected to his office over an over again and has become a symbol of law and order for millions across this country.

So…with all that said…I’ll make a prediction…it’s not really a prediction because the handwriting is on the wall. It’s simple common sense really…

The DOJ will have it’s investigations….it will obtain it’s court order to obtain records and the fishing expedition will commence. There is about to be a virtual army that will descend on Maricopa County…and they will dig and dig until they have destroyed Sheriff Joe. Our laws have become so far reaching that I don’t care how honest you are…no matter how diligent you try to be in complying with every jot and tittle of the law today…if a prosecutor is determined to take you down….down you will go because no one can keep up.

The long arm of the DOJ will get their man. Even if they don’t, they’ll tar and smear him while simultaneously costing the county so much money complying with their witch hunt that the voters will throw the Sheriff under the bus just to get Holder off their backs…

Meanwhile…who is watching the watchers? Who is holding the Obama Justice Department accountable. Who is out there to make sure Mr Holder is not abusing HIS power? \

Snowe of Maine and Brown of Massachusetts join Susan Collins of Maine as three crucial Republican votes for the legislation.

“While not perfect, the legislation takes necessary steps to implement meaningful regulatory reforms, create strong consumer protections and restore confidence in the American financial system,” Snowe said in a statement Monday evening.

In breaking with the rest of the Republican Party, the three lawmakers appeared to give Democratic leaders the 60 votes needed to overcome procedural hurdles facing the legislation.

And with that, Obama’s socialization of the free market is complete. THAT, with the help of no less than three Republican Senators….

Of Course, Prince Harry was glowing as he patted his Republican lap dogs on the head for their fealty.

“We will finish our work on this bill this week to ensure that these critical protections and accountability for Wall Street are in place as soon as possible.” ….

“Despite the difficult political climate, these Republicans have joined Democrats to support these common-sense protections for consumers, investors and financial institutions that will help prevent another financial crisis,” Reid said.

and we haven’t seen what will happen with Grassley who voted for it the first time through…and Bennett who each say in the same language used by Snowe Collins and Brown that they have “Reservations”.

“We’ve got some concerns that some of the banks in Nebraska have raised,” …. “We also have some banks in Nebraska saying vote for it. We’re trying to balance out the concerns that have been raised. There’s a certain amount of uncertainty. You don’t have regulations written. You don’t know who’s going to be the head of the consumer protection bureau.”

A fourth Republican who voted for the Senate version in May, Charles Grassley of Iowa, has indicated he has reservations as well.

Of course you can bet you bottom dollar…if their votes are needed…they’ll be on their knees before prince harry…tongues stuck to his boot.

Way to circle the wagons there Michael! Why didn’t you just say, “We nominated a man who wears a white hood and roasts Hot Dogs and marshmallows on the local black folk’s lawn?”

With spokesmen like this we don’t need the Democrats to beat our candidates in November.

Well folks, let me tell you…Steele is in a better positioned to explain the Conservative/Libertarian view on this than any spokesman we’ve ever had heading the RNC.

In fact, one of the best arguments for his taking over as Chairman was that he could speak to these issues in a way the party had never been able to do before. I opposed him at the time because I knew him to be a big tent, finger to the wind, day what the MSM expects you to say kind of weasel and believed deep down he’d never do so….but it was a good case in his favor!

I favored Ken Blackwell for this reason among many others. I knew Steele’s history of back sliding and pandering on every issue out there but when he won the chairmanship I’m on record saying we need to, “Give the guy a chance”…well…NO MORE!

Were his first instinct not to pander to the race baiters and and the conservative hating MSM he could have calmed the firestorm surrounding the Republican Senate candidate by saying something along the lines:

You know Chris, there have been a lot of attacks and mis-characterizations of what Rand Paul has said on this subject and I’d like to clear up the record on this.

Everyone want’s to make this a black or white issue when it’s anything but. There has always been a tension between the use of Federal Power for the purposes of ending what everyone agrees are the injustices of Segregation and Jim Crow and maintaining the maximum amount of liberty possible for individuals and private property owners.

What Rand is saying is basically this, I support the goals of the civil rights act of 1964, but I have a problem with some of the ways it’s been implemented.

There is no denying it’s enactment has had many unintended consequences such as Title IX, which has had a negative impact on College athletics programs. There have been many instances where Colleges have had to eliminate whole departments dedicated to male dominated sports in order to maintain a balance between programs for men and women because there weren’t enough women wishing to compete.

Maybe I wouldn’t have said things the way Rand said them, and let’s not pretend any who are fanning the flames of this controversy have charitable feelings toward Rand either. Let’s just say, I know what Rand was trying to say, and I agree with much of it.

The tension between maintaining Liberty and ending discrimination is there!

The Civil, Rights act did many good things…but it has also done some bad things in the process and I don’t see why this can’t be discussed in an open and honest way so some of the unintended consequences can be fixed without the person saying so being burned at the stake as a Heretic!

Instead what we get is a chilling effect in the debate because to even broach the subject brings out the most despicable accusations of bigotry and hatred against the person mentioning it making true and honest debate among people with the best of intentions impossible,

Instead we get the Chairman of the Republican Freaking Party throwing gasoline on the fire and fanning the flames against the Republican Nominee for Senate in KY

“I think his philosophy is misplaced in these times,” said Steele, the highest-ranking African American in the GOP. “I don’t think it’s where the country is right now. The country litigated the issue of ‘separate but equal,’ the country litigated the rights of minority people in this country to access the free enterprise system in accommodations and all of that. That was crystallized in the Civil Rights Act and the Voting Rights Act of ’64.”

“In this case, Rand Paul’s philosophy got in the way of reality, and the reality of it is that was important legislation at the time, put in place important benchmarks for the progress of free people,” Steele added. “I think, as [Paul] said, he stands four-square with the party on this issue, but he had a philosophical difference with the party.”

And then there’s this from ABC’s “This Week,

Any attempt to look backwards are not in the best interests of the country and certainly not in the best interests of the party…

“I can’t condemn a person’s view,” Steele said. “That’s like you believe something and I’m going say, ‘I’m gonna condemn your view of it.’ The people of Kentucky will judge whether or not that’s a view they would like to send to the Senate… I’m not comfortable with a lot of things. But it doesn’t matter what I’m comfortable with. I don’t vote in that election. The people of Kentucky will.”

so…all you Racists in KY should go out and vote for Rand Paul…but don’t expect Michael Steele or the RNC to lift a finger to help because they and Mitch McConnell agree with the MSM…and besides…You should have all voted for Trey Grayson like you were ordered to do…

Behind a Dunkin’ Donuts in a shopping center on East Cactus Road, J.D. Hayworth’s Senate campaign headquarters has a low-budget look. Near the front door, pinned to a cubicle wall, is a campaign T-shirt proclaiming Hayworth “The Consistent Conservative,” offered for sale at $15 each. Volunteers are stuffing envelopes at a folding table that holds seven telephones, the phone lines dangling down from the ceiling. A large bulletin board is festooned with letters from supporters, including a woman from Dewey, Arizona, who wrote to say, “Sock it to him, please!”

The “him” is, of course, Sen. John McCain, the Republican Party’s 2008 presidential nominee and the man whose involuntary retirement from the Senate is the goal of Hayworth’s candidacy.

Hayworth sits behind a desk in his office, signing thank-you letters to contributors who have given about $800,000 for his “Million-Dollar March” online fund-raising effort, and reflects on the central irony of this campaign: McCain, an outspoken advocate of “getting the big money out of politics,” is spending big money in an all-out effort to destroy Hayworth’s primary challenge.

Heh…where are those vaunted principles John? Where is that Honor you’ve spent decades crowing about?

I honor your service and can never take away from your principled decision to stay in the Hanoi Hilton rather than take the opportunity to go home when it was offered to you…but when it comes to politics…there is only one blowhard in the race for AZ Senate…and it ain’t JD!

President Barack Obama has left Democrats as confused as ever over how the White House plans to deliver a health care reform bill this year, following two weeks of inconsistent statements, negligible hands-on involvement and a sudden shift to a jobs-first message.

Democrats on Capitol Hill and beyond say they have no clear understanding of the White House strategy – or even whether there is one – and are growing impatient with Obama’s reluctance to guide them toward a legislative solution.

At a White House meeting Thursday with Obama and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi expressed frustration with the slow pace of the negotiations and the president’s decision not to weigh in publicly on a path forward, according to a Democratic source familiar with the meeting.

Heh…So Emmanuel, Axelrod and the Golden Child lead Congressional Democrats to the edge of a crumbling rock shelf and promptly stepped off…and the geniuses in the Congress are standing around while the ground continues to disappear beneath there feet looking back at the messiah praying for a strategy?

I hate to be the bearer of bad news kids, (or do I?)…There ain’t a grand strategy…It looks like the Chicago mob has decided it’s every Democrat for himself!

Obama admits health care overhaul may die on Hill

No, maybe he can’t. President Barack Obama, who insisted he would succeed where other presidents had failed to fix the nation’s health care system, now concedes the effort may die in Congress.

“I think it’s very important for us to have a methodical, open process over the next several weeks, and then let’s go ahead and make a decision,” Obama said at a Democratic National Committee fundraiser.

…Obama described the “next step” as sitting down with Republicans, Democrats and health care experts. “Let’s just go through these bills — their ideas, our ideas — let’s walk through them in a methodical way so that the American people can see and compare what makes the most sense,” Obama said, describing a process that could take weeks, if not longer.

He first floated the idea during his State of the Union speech almost three weeks ago, but top congressional aides in both parties said Friday that they still have no idea what the president was talking about.

Even the White House struggled to explain what Obama had in mind. On Friday, Press Secretary Robert Gibbs said there was no meeting on the schedule.

“And it may be that … if Congress decides we’re not going to do it, even after all the facts are laid out, all the options are clear, then the American people can make a judgment as to whether this Congress has done the right thing for them or not,” the president said. “And that’s how democracy works. There will be elections coming up, and they’ll be able to make a determination and register their concerns.”

That says “you’re on your own and if this doesn’t pass it’s not my fault” about as well as anything I can imagine:

Hope and Change has “moved on to “job creation” and it’s totally up to Congressional Democrats to find their way back and THEY will take the blame he has just washed his hands of.

I guess they could always pray that “The One” will be merciful and back the bus over them a couple times to lessen the suffering!

All of the above is predicated on Republicans remaining united and on the reservation on thsi; As is always the case…we have to check our six and make sure the Maine Twins, Grassley, Voinovich, or some other untrustworthy Republicans aren’t about to sink a shiv in our backs….

Having said that…that doesn’t appear to be in the cards at the moment because to date…by all reports, the White House has made no motion whatsoever of meeting with Republicans in leadership to discuss this “bipartisan” effort.

Here’s to praying the Democrat’s go it alone strategy has sufficiently poisoned the bipartisan well sufficiently that we won’t have to worry about Republican defections…and we can consign Obamacare to a much deserved and long overdue grave!

And so it continues.

The contempt with which the Democrats hold the will of the people of this great land is on naked and full display.

Let this be an official call for Senator Coburn, Senator Demint, and the Republican Caucus to make it plain that there will be no business conducted in the United States Senate by unanimous consent request if the Democrats choose to thumb their noses at the people of this nation!

The cry MUST go forth that the people of Massachusetts have spoken and they MUST be respected!

THEIR VOICES MUST BE HEARD AND RESPECTED!!!

EVERY SINGLE UNANIMOUS CONSENT REQUEST SHOULD BE OBJECTED TO BY THE REPUBLICAN’S IN THE SENATE UNTIL THE WILL OF MASSACHUSETTS HAS BEEN REPSECTED AND ACTED UPON!!!

This is WAR people…if Ried tries to play games with the Senator Elect…then the Republican Party should take no prisoners and there should be no quarter asked or given in the fight….The Democrats have run rough shod over McConnell and the Republican Party for a year…IT MUST STOP HERE!!!…they shouldn’t apologize or be ashamed of the political blood shed that occurs on the Senate floor as a result of the outragious acts of a dictatorial Majority!

Despite saying he wanted to change hearts not abortion laws when running for Governor.

This is what passes for reality in Crist’s magical world of sugar plumbs, gum drops, free bubble up, and rainbow stew!

His campaign gave the following excuse:

YEEEEHHHHHAWWWW!

Thus spoke Winston Churchill when discussing the British refusal to bend to the will of Hitler and the vaunted and seemingly invincible Luftwaffe.

It was summer 1940. Arguably the darkest time in human history. The Nazi horde has just swept across western Europe and destroyed French and British Forces.

Divine providence has shown it’s hand in Hitler’s inexplicable hesitation ordering a pause in the assault on allied forces thus sparing a defeated British Army.

In a hastily assembled armada of British ships, yachts, fishing trawlers and anything that could float across the English Channel, 300,000 British had just been evacuated from the beaches of Dunkirk.

Hitler has ordered logistical and strategic plans for the invasion of the British homeland which would be dubbed “Operation Sea Lion”.

Phase one of the operation calls for gaining air superiority over the southeastern part of the British Isles to provide cover for an invading Hun Army! This should be a simple enough task given the Germans are believed to command the most powerful Air Force in the world of the day. The tactic of Blitzkrieg developed and employed by the Germans is a new phenomenon in a world which only a few years ago modeled it’s battle tactics around the trench warfare of WWI.

The RAF is vastly outgunned in numbers of aircraft and over matched by the battle tested experience of the German pilots who had honed their skills over battlefields in the Spain, Czechoslovakia, Poland and France.

Conventional wisdom said Great Britain is doomed. There could be no hope of victory….and fighting would continue and prolong the suffering of the British People with little hope of success.

Fighting would bring untold hardship on the United Kingdom and her people. For the first time since the days of the Spanish Armada Britain would face the hardship of an invading force upon her shores and her people would feel the privations of war on her populace. Why face the destruction of the homeland? Why not sue for peace and negotiate an armistice which would preserve the independence of the United Kingdom? All was lost anyway…who could fault the British for doing the sane and rational thing and seeking an amicable peace?

Yet such a move would allow Hitler to work his will upon the European continent. Surrender would mean an end to Hitler’s opposition in Norway, Holland, and around the Mediterranean and North Africa. Hitler would be free to turn ALL his forces on the Soviet Union and the oil rich territories of eastern Europe which would in turn fuel his military and industrial machinery. The Soviet Union would be faced not only with the military might of the NAZI horde, but with the combined industrial might of Germany and France and all the war material they could produce.

Worse Germany would have the advantage of a one front war and a near certainty of absolute victory over the Soviet Union. With an unmolested Japan making her way across the Asian Continent, the Axis Powers would control the vast expanse of Europe and Asia and all the resources the vast expanses held. What a different history than what we know would exist had Britain followed the path of practicality and done the expedient thing?

At this point. America was no help because she was still asleep and secure in her isolationism and the American Public had no interest in what was happening “over there!!” Roosevelt was interested in getting involved in the war but at that point political reality prevented him from doing anything except shipping arms to the beleaguered British.

Then….out of the darkness echoes a loan voice in the third from a series of three speeches delivered from the House of Commons by Sir Winston Churchill:

I have, myself, full confidence that if all do their duty, if nothing is neglected, and if the best arrangements are made, as they are being made, we shall prove ourselves once more able to defend our Island home, to ride out the storm of war, and to outlive the menace of tyranny, if necessary for years, if necessary alone.

Even though large parts of Europe and many old and famous States have fallen or may fall into the grip of the Gestapo and all the odious apparatus of Nazi rule, we shall not flag or fail. We shall go on to the end, we shall fight in France, we shall fight on the seas and oceans, we shall fight with growing confidence and growing strength in the air, we shall defend our Island, whatever the cost may be, we shall fight on the beaches, we shall fight on the landing grounds, we shall fight in the fields and in the streets, we shall fight in the hills; we shall never surrender, and if, which I do not for a moment believe, this Island or a large part of it were subjugated and starving, then our Empire beyond the seas, armed and guarded by the British Fleet, would carry on the struggle, until, in God’s good time, the New World, with all its power and might, steps forth to the rescue and the liberation of the Old.

Churchill went on in that speech to utter the words that would give name to the greatest endeavor upon which the British people would ever embark!

“The Battle of France is over. I expect the Battle of Britain is about to begin…”

In a nut shell…the British never surrendered. They fought on. German arrogance made them believe Germany was the only nation that had the technology to develop RADAR and they ignored the picket fence of RADAR installations along the British Coasts that gave early warning to the RAF of approaching Luftwaffe raids.

Because of the survival of these RADAR installations, the superior numbers of the Luftwaffe were nullified by Britain’s ability to identify incoming German aircraft and spring up at the last moment in targeted and pinpoint attacks that made their numbers appear to be far greater than they actually were. All Aircraft could be devoted to confronting the invaders because RADAR made patroling the British skies unnecessary allowing more aircraft to be devoted to the fight!

Britain used every subterfuge, every trick in the book they could think of to confuse the enemy and make them fear proceeding with their invasion plans. Actual airfields were camouflaged so they couldn’t be seen from the air while fake airfields were visibly mocked up in open fields so that German bombs did little more than over turn the dirt and scatter sheep dung around the fertile British soil. Holes complete with wreckage inside were painted on the roofs and doors of hangers containing British aircraft leaving German reconnaissance pilots with the impression of empty and bombed out hangers. Bomb craters were painted by artists and special affects crews onto runways so that German reconnaissance pilots would report airfields that were totally destroyed and unusable while British Spitfires were taking off from those very runways just minutes after German reconnaissance aircraft flew away filled with confidence nothing could gain the skies after such destruction! No trick was too dirty and no effort was spared to confuse and demoralize the enemy!

As a result, the Germans eventually gave up on gaining air superiority and abandoned Operation Sea Lion electing to bomb the British population in a campaign to terrorize and demoralize them into submission. America would enter the war and after driving Hitler from Africa, Britain was there to be used as a base of operations in the destruction of German industry and war production as well as a jumping off place for the invasion of Normandy.

So what’s my point in writing this? I believe the American people are facing such times.

The Democrats have taken over banks, student loans, housing and entire industries in this country and now we are faced with the single biggest power grab by the socialist party of the last century.

We have seen the equivalent of the French Surrender when Harry Ried voted Obamacare through with hardly a squeak of protest from our Vichy Republican Leadership.

Now the equivalent of the Battle of Britain has begun with the final reconciliation of the House and Senate Bills…(assuming our leadership doesn’t sue for peace and refuse to fight).

60% and more of the public are against Obamacare today and people are BEGGING for an equivalent of the RAF Fighter Command to marshal and direct our resources in a final all out fight to defeat it.

We are in desperate need of a command structure that is committed to the fight to stop Obamacare. We need a high command who is frugal and has the good sense to muster our forces and deploy them as the RAF did to multiply our effect upon the Enemy!

We need all that and more!

I ask you…Where is our Churchill? For all the talk about how badly the Democrats are doing…and for all the talk of the gains we will make in 2010, where is that loan voice crying from the darkness calling for us to fight on:

“whatever the cost may be, we shall fight on the beaches, we shall fight on the landing grounds, we shall fight in the fields and in the streets, we shall fight in the hills; we shall never surrender”!

Where is that voice who will inspire us to not only achieve the expected gains of 2010…but will inspire us to even greater heights than we can even imagine?

The Bible Speaks of a time when God searched throughout the land for someone who would stand up and take up the challenge:

Who is that Man, or Woman who will make a wall…and stand in the gap? Who will answer the call?

Let us grab onto the comments from Churchill’s Speech from October 29, 1941 to Harrow School….

Never give in. Never give in. Never, never, never, never–in nothing, great or small, large or petty–never give in, except to convictions of honor and good sense. Never yield to force. Never yield to the apparently overwhelming might of the enemy.

We stood all alone a year ago, and to many countries it seemed that our account was closed, we were finished. All this tradition of ours, our songs, our School history, this part of the history of this country, were gone and finished and liquidated.

Very different is the mood today. Britain, other nations thought, had drawn a sponge across her slate. But instead our country stood in the gap. There was no flinching and no thought of giving in; and by what seemed almost a miracle to those outside these Islands, though we ourselves never doubted it, we now find ourselves in a position where I say that we can be sure that we have only to persevere to conquer.

From here let’s all resolve to move forward in the battle of Obamacare and let us spare no effort to prevent it’s passage until we have faced our own utter destruction…or we have won the victory so we can look back and say of ourselves what Churchill said of his people that day.

Do not let us speak of darker days: let us speak rather of sterner days. These are not dark days; these are great days–the greatest days our country has ever lived; and we must all thank God that we have been allowed, each of us according to our stations, to play a part in making these days memorable in the history of our race, (nation).

OK…so…it’s now day two since Ried and Pelosi announced they are going to stick a shiv in the belly of the Republican Party by short circuiting the conference process, holding a closed door re-write of the Senate Health Care Bill which they will trot out in time for Obama’s triumphant ascension onto the Speakers Dias for the State of the Union Address.

Of course House Minority Leader Boehner and Senate Minority leader McConnell were out in force defending the right’s of the Minority in the House and Senate and the rights of the majority of Americans whom they represent to be heard in this debate. There has been a hue and cry of epic proportions about the crass, dictatorial and undemocratic..er..um…wait…let me try that again…

Of course House Minority Leader Boehner and Senate Minority leader McConnell sent out numerous Republicans to communicate the unacceptable nature of Ried’s and Pelosi’s dictatorial tactics with a message to the millions of Americans who oppose Obamacare as to how the Republican Party plans to wage an insurgent strategy to slow down and ultimately defeat Obamacare while protecting the rights of everyday Americans to be heard in this debate….er…um…that doesn’t work either does it?

Well…I had hoped to be positive for once when it comes to the excellent leadership we have all come to expect from our representatives in the Republican Party…but unfortunately…here we are…day two and not a word from the Republican Leadership about the outragious behavior of Obama, Ried and Pelosi…and this after Brian Lamb gift wrapped a present for them and laid it in their laps by calling Obama on his lie that the process for “insuring all Americans” would be televised…

IS IT TOO MUCH TO ASK FOR AT LEAST A MINIMAL SQUAWK OF PROTEST ABOUT THIS?! I MEAN, IF THIS ISN’T A REASON TO CALL DOWN FIRE FROM HEAVEN AND HEAP BURNING COALS ON THE RIED AND PELOSI AND OBAMA TRINITY’S HEADS…WHAT IS?

Oh well…enough of that…I want to expand on my ideas from yesterday. “Assuming I could pull McConnell and Boehner’s Strings…what would I do to derail Obamacare?”

Actually…let me modify that because, as I pointed out in July, (if I understand the Senate Rules), I wouldn’t need to pull the minority leaders strings because my strategy could be employed by any Senator or group of Senators who desired to take a stand…Coburn and DeMint immediately come to mind…could tell McConnell to stick his comity and decorum in his pipe and smoke it and just do what I’m about to lay out.

I will expand even further on these basic posts in order to expand even further as to how I would manage my strategy were I in control. I will of necessity talk about how I would manage it in the Senate…but the plan overall would be the same in the House though modifications would be required because of the differing rules.

So…Here goes.

Were I managing this, I’d work to get at least 3 Senators to agree to work in eight hour shifts with two at their desk on the floor at all times while the third rests and attends to other business…like explaining to the press what is being done.

All three Senators would agree to object to ALL unanimous Consent Requests.

That’s right, I said ALL! Including Republican Unanimous Consent Requests!

Any motion to have something placed in the record, any bill, any amendment, any motion to come to order, any motion to adjourn, any motion to have the temperature raised or lowered in the Senate Chamber down to any request to have extra boxes of Kleenex placed in the Democrat’s cloak room to cry into…anything…no matter how trivial…or no matter how big and important would pass without being objected to…

If the Democrats didn’t drop the consent request they would then have to proceed to a vote….an objection would be raised that a quorum wasn’t present requiring a majority of the Senators to return to the floor. Every single bill would be read…Every single amendment would be read…every remark to be revised and extended would be read or votes and cloture votes would be taken to dispense with the reading..on and on and on it would go!

A vote would be called which would then be filibustered requiring a cloture vote followed by a roll call vote to pass the original motion…once that was done…in order for any other business to be conducted…the process would begin again with the next item on the agenda…

In all of this there would be points of order…procedural questions would have to be answered by the parliamentarian and where possible…objections to the parliamentarian’s ruling could be made and debated.

Leader’s agreements ro manage debates on the floor would be objected to…Everything McConnell negotiates with Ried for dispensing with bills and amendments would be objected to and voted on…

Of course the Dems would be able to do whatever they want…they have the votes for it…doubtless McConnell would fuss and join the Democrats in complaining and going around my three Senators …but it will take time….time they don’t have….and there isn’t a thing Ried or McConnell could do about is but whine!

All the while this is going on…The third and hopefully a forth Senator would be out talking to everyone they can about how it is the Pelosi, Ried, Obama Axis that has forced this turn of events. They would be booking every friendly talk show and venue thay could to talk about what is being done and why!

The message would be, “It is the excessive partisanship that is to blame here. It is the secrecy and corruption of the process that is to blame.

Part of the argument would be that the vast majority of the voting public are against this bill and Republicans have a duty and an obligation to represent those individuals on the right, the far left and in the great center who aren’t happy with the way this has been handled and want the process to be open and transparent.

The point wold be hammered that nothing the Democrats have promised is being accomplished by this bill according to their own numbers…millions will still be uninsured, access will still be restricted, and costs will go up even faster than they were before. Taxes would increase and liberty would be lost to the individual mandate!

Above all Obama’s LIE that this be open and transparent would be pointed out and it would be communicated that this extraordinary action would continue until the rights of the minority are respected, until the American voter has had a chance to see what is being enacted. This will continue until Obama’s promise to have this process aired on C-span is fulfilled, Until the promises to allow 6 days to have the bill read are fulfilled.

I’ll again state it emphatically..DON”T TELL ME THERE IS NOTHING THAT CAN BE DONE BUT PURSUE A CYNICAL PLOY OF ALLOWING IT TO PASS SO WE CAN GAIN POINTS IN THE UPCOMING ELECTIONS!

If one man with courage makes a majority…four Senators with conviction and the truth would be unstoppable!

Is this scorched earth? Hell yes it’s scorched earth but if this isn’t the time to pull out all the stops…well…If not THIS…what? If not NOW…when?

But for GOD’s sake let’s not just sit by and let this happen without a fight…it’s too important to our nation’s survival to allow this to happen.

And for those who believe this would ever be repealed…I issue a challenge…Name me one bill, one law or one power grab of this nature that has ever been repealed in the history of this Grand Republic…

NAME JUST ONE!…it ain’t out there…and this will be a millstone around our necks which the Democrats will build upon when next they have an opportunity!

I would encourage any and all of you to print this and my other posts on the subject and send it to your Senators…Send it to the RNC, the NRSC, the NRCC…Send it to your governors and State Party Chairmen….let’s not give up the fight till the shiv has been delivered to our belly’s and let’s demand action from our leadership until we’ve bled our life’s blood out onto the ground!

Then we have Greer resigning and Crist losing an ally in his bid to be the Faux conservative candidate for Senate from Florida…

Dorgan announced he wouldn’t be seeking reelection next year and the Washington Post this morning is reporting that Chris Dodd will announce later today his intention to retire after the 2010 elections!

Talk about embarrassing!

A review: Obama Care passes on 12/24/2009 and Mitch McConnell stands up to declare the fight isn’t over. he tells us we’re going to fight this with everything we have despite having done virtually nothing to stop it up to that point.

So here we are two full weeks later and not a peep from anyone in the Republican Party from what I can tell about what we’re going to do to at least attempt to knock this train off the rails.

To the contrary we end up with discussions about how the Republicans are going to reap big dividends by running on repealing a bill that will be all but un-repeal-able once it’s passed. I mean…seriously…name one time in the last 100 years when a law as sweeping as Obamacare has been scaled back…let alone repealed? I don’t see anything from my party, Mitch McConnell, or John Boehner about what dire straights we are in…nothing about an individual mandate and what it means to have the Federal Government tell you how you have to spend your personal funds….There is nothing from the party on what we’re going to do to this economy by creating a multi-trillion dollar bureaucracy complete with Billions in new taxes in the middle of a recession. I see nothing about how asinine the very idea is that we can simultaneously add 30 million people to the Health Care rolls while simultaneously saving money….talk about chasing unicorns!

I don’t see anyone doing a blessed thing but sitting around patting each other on the backs talking about how great it’s going to be in Nov because the Dems are pissing off so many voters…As if that’s all they need to do to get people to turn out and vote for them…just sit back and laugh as the Dems destroy themselves while simultaneously sending the rest of the country down the drain. As someone who is never surprised by how out of touh our leadership is, I am simply dumbfounded at stupid these people think voters are or how stupid they are to think they can actually sit back and do NOTHING and simultaneously gain people’s trust!

Ohh…and never mind the clown hawking his book on Hannity who just declared we’re not going to take the majority this year…not a chance…and telling us all he hasn’t seen any polls so he can’t tell how we’re going to do this year….as if the head of the RNC has anything to do other than read the polls and decide how to most effectively allocate funds for the 2010 elections! Well…yeah…I forgot…he was hawking a book wasn’t he? It’s hard work writing a book…I guess that’s why he hasn’t read any polls!

I would think someone in all this excitement about regaining a majority would stop and wonder what’s going to be left to govern if they do seem to make it back into the majority as they continue to fiddle while Rome burns!

Of course all of this in the face of the Democrats talking about ping pong strategies and openly plotting how they are going to shut the people’s representatives out of the conference process and pass yet another version of Obamacare that no-one has seen or read.

Surely McConnell, Boehner, and the rest of the Republican leadership rushed to the microphones to protest….you’d think so wouldn’t you?

Of course not!

Which brings me to my point.

Along comes Brian Lamb. Quiet, unassuming Brian Lamb…and a simple Memo: C-SPAN’s Lamb to Congress: Open health care debate. One little memo that is sure to put a blush on Nancy’s, Harry’s, and Obama’s shameless faces! At least the lap dog press is talking about it…which is more than the RNC has been able to get them to do!

Heh…way to go BRIAN!!!

As for our so called leadership….Bah!

Now that I’ve gotten that out of my system…What would you do at this point AceInTX?

I’ve laid it out in the past: Congressional Republicans Are Not Powerless To Stop The Assaults On Our Freedom!

Only now it’s time to up the Ante!

What better time than now to pull out all the stops and grind BOTH houses of Congress to an absolute and total stand still.

If I could pull McConnell and Boehner’s strings they’d be in front of the cameras right this second and on every talk show they can book talking about how the Republican Party Represents at least half this country, (and more on HCR if polls are any indication) who want this train stopped and as such, We have a duty to use every tool at our disposal to make this dictatorial majority stop and listen to the people.

I’d have them announce, immediately upon Congresses re-adjournment there will be NOT ONE SINGLE ITEM OF BUSINESS CONDUCTED…NOT A SINGLE SOLITARY ONE!!! in either body of the Congress without a quorum call, a calling of the roll and a cloture vote. No item of business will be too trivial for a quorum call from calling the House and Senate to order, to turning off the lights at the close of business. Every bill WILL be read word for word and every amendment to each and every bill. If t Harry and Nancy want to dispense with the reading…let them make the unanimous consent request on the Floors of the House and Senate…and let them have the quorum calls…the cloture votes…the calling of the rolls…and pass it by actual vote. Every point of order that can be raised will be raised and no sing item will be to big to justify a change in these new rules.

The Dems are shameless at using everything in their power to grind Republican faces into the dust and it’s well past time to do the same while we still have a Republic to defend. They don’t respect Republicans in congress because Republicans are reticent to give them a reason to fear them…they insult the minority with impunity and the throw sand in their faces when there is no need to…it’s time Republicans made them pay a price for their disrespect and arrogant petulance!

Don’t waste your breath telling me there is nothing Republicans can do right now…There is plenty!

Maybe we can’t get at Obamacare directly…but we can have a tactical retreat as the Russians employed against Napoleon and make sure the Dems can’t sustain themselves on the ground they take from us.

If we do what I suggest…we may well lose the fight…but we will have gained in the long term by showing we can fight in the dark and exact a terrible toll on our enemy…to do less is the way of the coward….to do less is to put the very chains of our enslavement about our own ankles….to do less gains us nothing and I would argue does far more damage than we would otherwise do because laying back and allowing the Democrats to work their will so we can later gain on voter anger is too obvious and cynical a ploy to win any voter over and we deserve an equal share of the blame if we continue this losing strategy!

Well, here we are. Everyone knows the epic failure of Mitch McConnell and his lack of effort in slowing down let alone defeating the Democrats in their efforts to pass HCR before the Christmas Break so I won’t rehash it all here. Let’s just say I’m sick to death over it and frustrated beyond measure that more wasn’t done when it’s clear to everyone the Republican effort in the Senate was lackluster at best.

So, where are we now? Is Obamacare an inevitability?

Obama and his minions in the lapdog press want us all to think it is!

This despite the real possibilities that the Dems could tear themselves apart over the conference to reconcile the House and Senate versions. Republicans could still object to the conferees…DeMint has done just that in fact. Cracks can be exploited in the Democrat coalition because the far left is up in arms at the fact the Dems are abandoning the public option. Nelson has been under withering assault because of the fire sale he conducted to purchase his vote. The Stupack Amendment is a thorn sticking out of the side of the House bill that is the size of a meat cleaver…There are liberal groups out there that want this to be killed we could team up with in bringing pressure to bear on one or two Senators or even one or two Representatives to switch their votes…and on and on!

Much has been written of late about how we can still kill this pig before it becomes law beginning with: The Three-Step Plan to Stop Nationalized Health Care by Ben Shapiro and Ten New Reasons Why Obamacare Can Still Be Killed and others showing how this potential negative for Republicans can be turned to a positive by fracturing the Democrat Party while simultaneously killing a bill that is opposed by a plurality of Americans exceeding 70% in some polls.

So…what are Republicans to do? surely they are toiling away figuring out how they can do all of the above while putting themselves on the side of the Tea Party protesters and a majority in this country who want no part of this?

Well…YOU WOULD BE WRONG!

It seems the geniuses who brought us McConnell’s messaging strategy have given up stopping this thing out right and decided on a strategy of allowing it to pass…and running on a repeal platform in 2010: GOP banks on repeal push for 2010!

Republicans hope a push to repeal the Democrats’ health care bill will inspire voters to turn out for them in the 2010 elections — even though some of them admit that it has no realistic chance of working.

Never mind the fact that once this thing is passed…we’ll be in chains…We’ll be stuck with an individual mandate that put’s the federal government in a position of telling me how I can spend my own money.

Uncle Sam will not only tell me I have to purchase a health care plan…he will be deciding what health insurance will be available for purchase! He’ll be raising taxes for the next four years to supposedly pay for this legislation as if those funds won’t go into the general fund and spent so Democrats will have plenty of pork to hand out between now and 2014 leaving nothing in the treasury when this chicken comes home to roost!!! (never mind the predicted funcds that will never bee seen since they come from raising taxes in the middle of a deep recession)!

But hey…we shouldn’t worry…we’ll make huge gains in the 2010 elections running on repealing this legislation won’t we? We might even take back the House and Senate…and we might even vote on a blanket repeal of the legislature with our new majorities, (excuse me if I don’t hold my breath waiting for that!).

Of course we’re supposed to be to stupid to realize even if we were to take back both houses of congress and pass a repeal with our bare majorities…that any repeal would need to be signed into law by…(gasp)….wait for it….BARACK OBAMA!

What about the short term effect of what these mental midgets are doing? The Politico article raises this very question:

And even some supporters say the push for full repeal could backfire on Republicans. By starting their positioning for a repeal before the bill even passes, the GOP is reinforcing the Democratic narrative that passage is inevitable — and that Republicans haven’t done enough to shape the bill along the way.

Heh…ya think?

Which brings us full circle to my original question and what the Dems and the media want us to think…”Is Obamacare and inevitability?”

So apparently the new Republican position is, “Let’s just stop fighting it now because we’ve got a better…much more “NUANCED” and brilliant plan to pad our numbers in the hallowed halls of Congress…and damn the consequences to our liberties and this grand republic!”

Imagine General Washington in preparation for his trip across the Delaware to engage the Hessians the day after Christmas in Trenton riding out in his best dress uniform upon a grand white stallion to adress those he would be sending into battle that day:

“We are now engaged in a lost cause with no hope for victory…The Red Coats and their hired guns represented by the Hessians across the river are destined to win this war…there is no way we can stop them from burning our towns and villages, killing our children, raping our women and raising our farms, crops and livelihood to the ground…But Men…I want you to spill your blood….I want you to leave your very limbs on the ground in Trenton…I want you to die today secure in the knowledge that in losing this battle…you’ll get more suckers to join the fight so they can fight, sacrifice their limbs and bleed their life’s blood into American soil and die another day for a cause your general, your congress, and your people have no commitment to winning!”

Inspiring stuff is it not?

The 800 pound gorilla in the tent which blows a Mack Truck sized hole in this brilliant strategy is this. The assumption is that by lying back and allowing HCR to pass, Republicans will be able to make political hay against the Democrats and they wont face any negative consequences for lying back and doing nothing while the Democrats rammed it through all the while thumbing their noses at the majority of voters who want this to die. It’s a flawed assumption which is borne out by recent polling showing high negatives for Democrats but even higher negatives for a Republican Party which is doing nothing to help an increasingly frustrated voting block stop an unpopular Juggernaut while claiming to do everything it can!

In closing…let me slip in another defense of my constant harangues directed at the Republican Party…It bothers me that I’m known as the crazy malcontent who can’t find anything about the Republican Party to be positive about. If it didn’t bother me…I wouldn’t keep trying to explain it…
that said, let me give you an analogy I’ve been working on to explain why I tend to ignore what the Demoncrats are doing and expend all my energy yelling at the Republicans.

Consider a prize fight were you’ve got two heavyweights standing in the middle of a ring…one represents the Republican Party…the other represents the Democrat Party…it’s the 8th round of a 10 round fight and the Democrat has pounded and pounded the Republican for the previous 7 rounds while the Republican has stood in the center of the ring with his arms at his side refusing to lift his arms to even block the Democrat’s punches…let alone punch back in an effort to defend himself…YOU are in the Republican’s corner. You love the guy getting his head pounded to a bloody pulp in the middle of the ring and you want to see him win…or at least put up a respectable fight before assuming a place on the mat for an eight count…and not get killed….

Let me ask you…are you going to yell at the Democrat for doing what he’s supposed to do and that is to beat the ever living hell out of the Republican….or are you going to give your guy hell for standing there and taking it and demand that the punch drunk fool man up and put up some semblance of a fight?!

Everything Leon says in “The NRSC’s Brian Walsh Continues to Make Himself the Story” is true!

True, no one should even know Walsh’s name…True, Walsh shouldn’t be trashing a Republican candidate for The United States Senate in public which shows poor tactical judgment at best…and utter stupidity at worse…

Finally…and most importantly…TRUE…NO official of the NRSC should be threatening to withhold NRSC support for a GENERAL ELECTION campaign should it’s candidate be nominated to represent the party in the general election!

But that’s not the whole story….I’d like to point out the underlying problem here

Don’t get me wrong…I agree with Leon 100% in this…I just want to add to his commentary and point out the underlying attitude that infects the party and currently has us over a barrel at the mercy of the Obama/Democrat/Socialist forces! Most important of all, I want to call attention to something he’s exposing here that I submit no one has been looking at till now!

The lesser part of this, is the attitude displayed that we need to be dealing with at the highest levels of the party….and particularly with the careerists as Leon illustrates!

It’s evident at the highest profile positions within the party whether it be at the RNC, the NRCC, the NRSC, or with the talking heads and pundits in the press and on the news! There is no line beyond which they won’t go in trashing conservatives who refuse to knuckle under to their point of view!…It’s the holier than thou, in your face, constant digs at the base that is an important issue…though not the only one…which I will get to shortly!

Let anything negative happen and they will run you over to get to a mic and blame it on “the intolerant fringe of the Republican Party.” Conservatives are the problem with every ill! Conservatives are the convenient scape goats for their every incompetence! Conservatives put the party where it is with our “purist” attitudes and “hate filled rhetoric”…it is conservative “ignorance”, “intolerance” and stubbornness that has us where we are today. No name is too vile to throw at the conservatives and no amount of treachery is too much to contemplate as these crap weasels go about playing to the press and their friends at the gridiron dinner!

They go on the public airwaves and accuse conservatives of being on “the fringe”, or the “Radical Right Wing”…conservatives are”extreme” in our views…conservatives are “exclusionary” and “purists” who “drive away moderates and independents with their hate filled rhetoric!” They can accuse us of any evil and trash us at every turn…

Yet we’ve just gone through two years of being brow beaten and slapped about the head for refusing to shut up and get in line. We’ve had our loyalty, our commitment and hard our work for this party called into question by these people for so much as croaking a half hearted criticism of the direction we were heading and the strategy they were forcing on us.

We’ve been called “Kossites”, and traitors for complaining about the direction they were taking us in and for daring to point out what it was doing to us! I’ve been accused of trying to elect Democrats and preferring Obama for Pete’s sake

But THEY are NOT to be questioned…THEY are ABOVE REPROACH…THEY act directly against conservative candidates even in general elections and actively support liberal/moderate candidates with OUR resources and try to tell us they’re not ENDORSING candidates because they haven’t written an OFFICIAL document or put out an OFFICIAL press release using the word ENDORSE….THEY can act in bad faith all they want and THEIR loyalty to this party is not to be questioned….WE’RE the ones accused of being bad actors?

And now to the nub of this little matter….and my main point in writing this!

Brian Walsh dares to threaten the Devore Campaign and threaten to withhold support of the NRSC from Devore in the general election if he doesn’t shut his campaign up about Cornyn’s refusal to meet with him? This after Cornyn has said they haven’t met with Devore’s campaign because they haven’t been asked? This after Devore was only pointing out Carly Fiorina’s bragging that John Cornyn had personally recruited her?

Again…AN OFFICIAL OF THE NRSC ACTUALLY SAID THE NRSC WOULD WITHHOLD SUPPORT IN THE GENERAL OF DEVORE SHOULD HE WIN THE NOMINATION OF THE PARTY?

EXCUSE ME?!

Duck Tape please…the blood is shooting from my eyes as we speak!

What if this were a conservative group…let alone an actual arm of the party that threatened to withhold support during the general election if a candidate or his campaign didn’t sit down and shut up?

Can you imagine the cat calls?

Can you imagine the abuse that would be heaped upon any conservative who even dared express such an idea by the usual suspects we see every day?

There would be nothing left of him after the flaming a conservative would take after suggesting it!

So why is Brian Walsh any different?

This frosts my britches like nothing I’ve read in quite a while….THIS is who I’ve been talking about when I say the “Establishment”. I’ve meant these guys without realizing it…Leon correctly points this out…Cornyn, Dole and Ensign are just passing through…it’s the careerists in the Republican Party that are the problem here! AND they MUST be dealt with!

I recall a story I read a long time ago. I don’t remember the actors or who exactly was involved. I can only paraphrase what was said but there was apparently a confrontation between a Reagan administration official and the State Department where the Reagan Administration wanted to change some long standing policy concerning the United States posture toward the Soviet Union…There was a statement made by a State Department careerist that goes something like…”Just bide your time because ‘these armatures’ will be gone some day and these policies will be back in the hands of the ‘professionals’”

This is the sickness that infects the Republican Party and these are the people we need to change if we’re ever to change the direction of OUR party!

Yes Cornyn, Steele and Sessions bear their share of the responsibility for allowing these clowns to keep their jobs…and I’m not about to back off my war on high profile RINOs and others like McCain, Graham and others who are poisoning the Republican well….but this is were the real work needs to be done!

Changing the figurehead of these organizations isn’t going to change anything until the people in career positions that remain behind and work like little ants chewing away at the fiber of this party are either fired or can’t sit down in their comfortable chairs without burning something!!!

I’m not on the inside and don’t have access to who these people are….or what they are doing from day to day…But I submit to you…that those of you who can shine a light on these cock roaches and expose them to the light of day need to be writing more diaries like this as often as you can!

but for now…John Cornyn needs to hear from ALL of us concerning Brian Walsh…As far as I’m concerned…He’s crossed the Rubicon and he needs a well deserved retirement for suggesting the NRSC would withhold funds from a candidate who was rightfully elected to represent this party in the primary and we shouldn’t rest until he’s gone!

After the indignity foisted upon all conservatives in 2008 by an out of touch party, I find the new polls showing JD Hayworth withing striking distance of John McCain without even announcing let alone running a single add to be the ultimate opportunity to send an unmistakable message.

I sent the letter below to JD begging him to run and ask those who agree with me to do the same at jdhayworth@clearchannel.com

That snorting you hear are the oxen straining at the yoke hoping to see McCain in a fight for his life. After the indignity we all faced at having the choice between Obama or McCain foisted upon us by an out of tough Republican Party, conservatives across this country are kicking against the pricks dreaming of a serious challenger to run against McCain!

If you run, you’ll have money coming in from every state in the union….Please JD…You’re close without ever having announced….take on this challenge for your country, for the 9/12ers, for the tea partiers, for conservatives, and finally for disaffected and disillusioned Republicans from across this great land who are dying to see the message a McCain primary defeat would send!
