But he COULD do a fair job of driving the clown car into a ditch, creating much mirth in the audience.

…or was that angst? I get those two mixed up a lot…….

Both have also been “historic”— i.e., historic disasters.

Not that past President’s didn’t continue to build or develop programs from their predecessors. Indeed, many of them served other Presidents in appointed positions. But the biographic records during their presidencies are kept as biographies of that presidency, not policies for some future, insecure, whiny suck-up to co-opt.

Oh, and the biographies are all about a page long – I wonder how lengthy Obama’s will be when he leaves office…?
