The White House Cancels the White House

This is out-and-out manipulation of public opinion and playing on the emotions of Americans for political gain.

The Washington Times reported that the White House announced in an email,

“

Due to staffing reductions resulting from sequestration, we regret to inform you that White House Tours will be canceled effective Saturday, March 9, 2013 until further notice. Unfortunately, we will not be able to reschedule affected tours,”

”

Really? This is so faux panic, it’s pathetic. Brought to you by The Most Transparent Administration Ever.

(I suppose it doesn’t really matter if they do close the White House, it’s not like anything gets done there anyway. Budget, anyone?)

    Anyone who would believe such blatant manipulation is beyond our help. Though I do think it speaks to the desperation of liberals that they realize they are loosing this argument so badly that they have to resort to such measures.

    Next thing you will know it will be “Dogs and Cats living together due to sequestration!”

    So much for the people own the gov’t! If the prez continues his faux tours at companies he likes to highlight, say green energy, they should refuse until the WH is re-opened.

    This is priceless- “Louie Gohmert (R., Texas) has filed an amendment to the House GOP’s six-month continuing resolution that would bar federal funds from being spent on President Obama’s golf outings until public tours of the White House start up again.”
