Maybe I don’t want to support the bailout after all …


I was reluctantly supporting the bailout as the likely “least-bad” option going forward. Then, I see this gem on CNN:

Anyone else feeling a bit depressed over the MSM bias?


(Oh, wait, there's no bias is there. Just pure reporting of objective fact.)

Sigh … I’d felt that the media bias was bad in 2004, but this really takes the cake. No mention in the MSM that Mr Harry Reid has changed his opinion 4 times in three days over McCain’s value to the bailout process. No mention that Democrats could pass the bill whenever they felt like it – that they were really trying to strong-arm the House GOP into voting without giving any concessions as a result. No mention that while McCain was wrangling with the House GOP to come to agreement Sen Obama was in the gym. It just feels absurdly over the top, but if polls are anything to judge by only a fraction of the electorate even thinks to go around the media monopoly. Perhaps I’m just ranting, but how can so many educated people be so bloody stupid!
