With spokespeople in the likes of Ms. Bachmann and/or Palin, and add Bolton, the RNC has their work cut out for them for sure.

Fascist come in all shapes and sizes and it’s clearly evident and racism is alive and well in the Republican Party.

But I believe we will be faced with at least 4 years of Obama and possibly 8. No doubt the first 4 years will be spent with a Dem house and senate.

I think the RNC will have time to look in the mirror and possibly get into the 21st century and leave the extreme right wing twisting in the wind, where they should be … with their white hoods on.

I like many life long Republican’s are totally disgusted with the Fascist display that I’m seeing from the right of my party and I along with many, many Republican’s will vote for Obama as a result. If the RNC doesn’t the message … be damned.

And McCain … he has sold his soul … a loser.

If she were Kay Bailey Hutchison or one of the Bobbsey twins from Maine, I’m guessing you’d see a different result.

As far as I can tell, the party has held mostly the same position as long as the issue has existed. Some might say it has moved left depending on the issue.

I fail to see any rightward drift though.

By the way, your act would actually play better in Pakistan or Saudi Arabia or Iran. You know. The place where the religious crazies enforce orthodoxy through intimidation and violence.

His only elected office was Senator, and he started his presidential run almost immediately after starting his first term.

Funny thing is, Senators never get this, but Governors almost invariably do. Reagan, Carter, Clinton, now Palin. What is it about merely being posted to DC gives you automatic bona-fides?

It can’t be that big a deal, the last Senator elected to President was LBJ, the last SITTING Senator was JFK. That changes this year, of course.

Now, I’m agnostic about gay marriage. As long as this right doesn’t become a club to trample the constitutional right of a church to worship according to their religious dictates.

I think of how I would feel if Protestant Christians insisted that my Roman Catholic marriage wasn’t valid or was less worthy than theirs. That would certainly be their right, as Americans, to believe what they want. What would not be American, is for them to create a law that would enforce their point of view.

I noted that he was the third man in, and where I come from that will get you at least a 2:00 minute minor, if not a fighting major.

My chide was for him, not you.

I have been through the same argument with people like Han a million times. I have heard what he said in his first sentence a million times. He will not budge me, I will not budge him, and I am simply not interested in what he has to say any longer.

Implement my version of Christianity? Well, my version of Christianity doesn’t allow me to kill godless anti-christian types like yourself. You don’t want that implemented? Hmm, my version of Christianity says that when you attack my version, I shouldn’t beat the living crap out of you. Are you against that part of my version of Christianity too?

You cannot face the fact that Christianity is the basis, as shown above, of many of our laws. The further we get from it, the further we descend into being like mindless animals.

Like it or not, MY VERSION OF CHRISTIANITY has likely saved your butt countless times. You just might want to look into it.
