MEMBER DIARY

So much for backing another quitter…

I backed Cain… he quit…

I backed Santorum… he just quit…

In November I’ll vote for anyone than the Obama/Biden ticket unless I’m to sick to go to the polls… If I’m dead I’ll still vote but cannot guarantee it’ll be the way I would if alive (I live in PA)

I am not happy with Romney likely winning, for a variety of reasons that run from “he’s the one the O could maybe beat” to “I just don’t trust him to be more than a politics as usual kind of guy who won’t fix a doggone thing”…

So it goes…

Last time around Romney quit early. He’s just been handed the nomination barring a major scandal or hideous gaffe that puts all the previous foot in mouth moments to shame…

sigh…

Furthermore, Santorum’s daughter is in the hospital. I completely understand his decision to suspend his campaign.

There is still someone to choose other than Romney.

Even though I’m not a Santorum Supporter, I wish the man the best and hope his daughter recovers.

Not that it’d be a bad thing or is completely impossible.

Santorum dropping makes it easier for Gingrich but with all of the previous vote splitting that helped Romney it’s a really rough massively uphill battle for Gingrich and I wish him the best. Just at the moment I don’t see him winning it or forcing a brokered convention.

Things can change quickly but unless Gingrich pulls off some stunning wins very quickly or Romney self destructs in some truly spectacular manner it’s pretty much, hOpefully going to be Presidential Candidate Mittens…

…to back the honest, qualified candidates (in your opinion) even if they get forced out of the race by corrupt politics than to back the ones who will win because they have the most money. Principles over money every time :) I’m a Santorum supporter; before that I was a Perry supporter, and he dropped out also. I wish I had been supporting Santorum the whole time, but it is what it is. Better to back the good so-called losers than the rich winners in most cases.

i would have preferred santorum myself but i am a republican so i WILL back the republican nominee even though he is not my preferred choice.

He forged on against all odds and did a remarkable job. With his daughter’s health problems combined with the nearly insurmountable task ahead against the Romney juggernaut, he made a responsible decision.

Hopefully we’ll see no more of him.
