If Saudi Arabia starts funding the Syrian insurgents into a full blown civil war and Turkey shelters the Syrian insurgency with it’s borders will Syria decide enough is enough and start a regional war?

Barring that will it spread of it’s own accord if Russia/China/Iran decide to back Syria against the rest of the middle east?

Just have a bad feeling about the whole situation there.
