I got a call this evening from someone who claimed  to be (and indeed sounded like) a local Democrat asking me if I planned to support Obama “again” this year.

I was mildly puzzled until I remembered that I voted in the Democratic Primary in 2008. (McCain had already wrapped it up and I had a very bad feeling about Obama).

I assume the Romney Campaign is aware of these things but it indicates to me that the ground war in Virginia has begun.

I live in a majority Republican area and the local Democratic Party has been moribund for years.
