Yet another sign that Barney Frank is in deep trouble.

I find this video  (via RCP) to be just short of amazing. Michael Dukakis? Really? On the final weekend before the election, this is the best Barney’s campaign can do? Things to consider: 1. There appear to be no more than perhaps 30 people there. At a Democrat rally in Massachusetts. Two days before election day. 2. Michael Dukakis is one of the silliest and | Read More »

Is there a disconnect in Senate vs House polling?

Maybe its just me but I sense a disconnect in the majority of polling for the Senate compared to the House. We all know that since WWII, each time the House has flipped, the Senate flipped as well. This makes sense given that Senate races are statewide and thus a compilation of all the House races in a given state. Now we come to 2010 | Read More »

    Huge news out of Va-9

Rick Boucher was first elected in 1982 and I well remember the shock that we Virginia Republicans felt when he defeated long time Representative William Wampler. Re-elected without fanfare every two years since, Boucher has come to seem virtually unbeatable. Until now. Southwest Virginia is coal country. For decades Boucher has remained in office in large measure because he caters to the coal industry and | Read More »

    Latest Gallup Numbers

I’m surprised by the lack of comment anywhere about the new Gallup Generic numbers. One week out, the most respected polling organization, The Gold Standard, is showing the Republicans with either a 9 or 14 point margin among “likely voters”. The Low Turnout model shows the GOP up 55-41 while the High Turnout model shows the margin is 52-43. These numbers are slightly tighter than | Read More »

Fear of Sarah Palin on Journolist

While trudging through the muck and mire of the latest Journolist release on Daily Caller, one entry jumped out at me. Kathleen Geier Aug 30, 2008, 9:49am Look at these family pix here: http://tinyurl.com/5zf8xx And here: http://tinyurl.com/6pg7ss It looks like the daughter *could* be pregnant — especially in the first picture. And it seems odd that Palin would wait until her 7th month to announce | Read More »

    Lame duck shenanigans planned.

If a piece by John Fund in the Wall Street Journal is even remotely accurate, then the Democrats are planning to enact an agenda that is breathtaking in scope and exhibits historic levels of arrogance and disregard for the wishes of the American people. According to Fund, among the legislation the Democrats are looking to mash through: 1. Card check 2. Tax increases 3. Climate | Read More »

Why the left hates Sarah Palin.

They hate Sarah Palin because they fear her. She threatens to expose the Big Lie that has bound many women to the Democrat Party, and so they must destroy her. This new ad on YouTube is one of the best pieces I’ve seen in a long time. Sarah Palin is an independent woman who lets no one bulldoze her. She is also a conservative that | Read More »

In unguarded moments leftists reveal their lack of ethics.

While poking around on Daily Kos this morning, I came across this post summarizing various Senate and House races. What caught my eye was this entry about the Senate seat recently held by former Klu Klux Klan member Robert Byrd: “WV-Sen: Might there be a 2010 special elex, after all? The semi-definitive word from West Virginia Sec. of State Natalie Tennant this week regarding the | Read More »
