Ed Schultz apologizes for calling Laura Ingraham a slut

I’m watching the opening of MSNBC’s The Ed Show right now (while eating dinner), and he’s apologizing for calling Laura Ingraham a slut. Thomas Roberts is subbing as host.

One error, Ed? It’s your whole shtick!

Way back on May 13, 2011, I posted here, “MSNBC’s Ed Schultz must go.” I noticed the return of the “Psycho Talk” segment–Republicans were always the psychos.

Brent Bozell had written “Fact-Challenged Ed Schultz” for Newsbusters on May 10th.

See this clip from May 13th (also described in my post and a comment), Media Research Center Dishonor Awards. Ed Schultz “won” quote of the year.

Here’s the quote:

“The Republicans lie! They want to see you dead! They’d rather make money off your dead corpse! They kind of like it when that woman has cancer and they don’t have anything for her.”

Frankly, you can watch any edition of The Ed Show and point out something absurdly biased and ridiculous.

SUMMARY
Comcast, have you ever watched any show by this guy? Republicans want you dead? Republicans are sluts? You think an act like that can be rehabilitated?

    glad you are willing to do it. I used to watch Tweety from time to time when he went after Clinton. I just can’t stomach people like Schulz and immediately flip the channel when I see his face.

    I will check MSNBC when there is major breaking news, just to see if they have more info than FOX. That does happen sometimes.

      Rachel Maddow had on the Democratic winner of the NY Congressional race. She attributed the victory to the unpopularity of the “Paul Ryan Kill Medicare Bill.” She said “Kill Medicare” so often that I thought it was a clue to a drinking game. This is from a network that shuns the term “Obamacare” as some great lexical insult. Hey Rachel, you know what will kill Medicare? The Democratic plan of doing nothing on Medicare!

      I’m usually on the computer and eating dinner and doing a number of things while the tv is on. I have to admit, though, that The Ed Show is very, very tough to watch straight through with even half a brain.
