If somebody from the Romney campaign is reading Red State, please consider the VP debate in this light:

The American people want Washington to work together to solve our major problems.

By almost any analysis, the Republicans will hold the House of Representatives.

If, God forbid, Obama wins the election, Paul Ryan will remain the chair of the Budget Committee.

With his rude, boorish behavior in the VP debate Joe Biden did everything that he could possibly do to poison the relation between the White House and Ryan.

The contrast is with Romney’s performance as governor of Massachusetts where he cultivated a regular civil dialogue with the Democratic legislative leaders.
