It’s going to be the numbers in Colorado.

It’s a critical swing state. Barack went to the mountaintop there. But they care deeply about the energy issue. They’ve got big cities, but they also have a lot of rural/suburban areas. They’ve got a pretty stark political divide. Obama won, but it was a caucus, not a primary.

Sarah Palin’s speech was aimed squarely at swing voters in a state like Colorado. We’ll see if they listened.
