When former Governor Palin spoke at the republican convention in 2008 I was mesmerized and was an instant fan like millions who saw her speak. Within 3 weeks I wanted to run McCain’s campaign because they were making a terrible error by trotting her out to speak using the SAMEcomments she used in her convention speech. I was very disillusioned and knew we were in trouble. Then came the Charlie ABC interview, the Couric interview, and we were then doomed. Surely as a Governor at the time your curious mind had some interest in reading for gosh sakes!! I was knawing teeth praying she wouldn’t yelp People Magazine!

Although Palin helped some candidates in the last election she has become a pirriah. Her “Handlers” are 3rd rate at best. A written statement, 4-5 sentences in length–not an 8 minute video–would have been best in response to the Tuscon shooting. Although some of you might feel her video was spot-on, her ratings have now started to head south quick. She just comes across like a high schooler in a popularity contest.

I’m awfully tired of Palin. While she and her family are obviuosly good people with decent values, they’re not savy at all when it comes to the political scene and get hammered too often. Enough is enough. Please go home.

Palin had gone dark after she issued Christmas wishes to her followers. She remained quiet until she was dragged into the Tucson controversy. After showing respect to the victims, four days later she addressed the matter, and she did it extremely well. She has appeared once since then.

You may be tired of her, but that’s more your problem. The media continues to talk about her even when they have nothing new to say or when they feel the need to disparage her.

is to have interjected some light-heartedness into her comments in certain instances.

These are Progressives who are attacking her. They want to control the narrative. She could easily have pointed that out and light-heartedly responded to some of the totally ridiculous, inane, ignorant, and dishonest comments they made.

If she had, “consider the source” would probably have become a household phrase by now and it would have gone even further in discrediting the MSM.

The only thing liberals can’t figure out how to combat is humor… because none of ‘em understand it, perhaps?

….as a quitter was overboard. As your diary pointed out, her rationale in her speech was quite well-reasoned. I think the “quitter” tag was hung on her by the other side and, as they are wont to do, many on our side were quick to concur. She was damned if she did and damned if she didn’t. Since that time, she still supports her state. The TV show may benefit her, but it sure doesn’;t hurt Alaska. If nothing else, She is a patriot.

It wouldn’t have mattered what she said. The vast majority didn’t read or see her statement in its entirety. She could have been the second coming of Dennis Miller and the media would still have announced that she was playing victim and that she offended Jews.

Even a distant observer can see why Michael Steele lost his job, because TurdBlossom and KrauthammerFrankenStein didn’t like his association/acceptance with the tea party types.

They would rather kill their own party’s chances, like they did in not taking the Senate, rather than suffer the freedom-lovers any success at all.

We could have had Obamacare, repealed BY NOW, OVER AND DONE, if these two creeps didn’t sacrifice their own party, with their “not ready for prime time” stupid talk.

Now watch the ultimate shafting of honesty on the right, like happened on the left.

I wish we had a Jeanne Kirkpatrick, Reagan’s UN Ambassdor running for President. Although a registered democrat, no one in the media ever–EVER–questioned her intellect. She was America’s Thatcher. Any woman who comes along with her political poise and brilliant intellect will be America’s first female President.

I like Palin and share her values and belief systetm from what I have read of her and in a few of her appearances on television. But that’s where it stops for 58% of Independents and a conservative like me.

She should have remained in office as Gorvernor. Again, some one in her inner circle gave her bad advice with her resignation. It is one dumb decision after the other.

Her plan was to return to the Governor’s office, complete her first term and run for a second term. Obama’s minions had other plans. They set out to neuter her office while driving her into bankruptcy.

Obama and his clowns underestimated how powerful she has become. I bet if they could turn back the clock, they would have left her alone. They poked her with a stick and she whirled around and ripped their faces off. And she’s still drawing blood.

Thats why they hate her, because she rips them to shreds constantly, as she did with her brilliant statement last week. Of course they continue to criticize her, but the fact is that when someone accuses you of being an accessory to murder you have every right and reason to respond, she did, she put them in their place while looking very Presidential, it was just an awesome speech by our next President. I have to feel sorry for anybody who claims to be ‘tired’ of her after her just being on the national stage for a couple years, as you’ve got about 10 more years to go! Two years of campaigning, and 8 years of Presidency, and that doesn’t even count the post-Presidency book-deals and such that always come. Yep, sucks to be you guys :) . For the rest of us we’re loving watching our next President rip the far-left a new one on a constant basis, and we can’t wait for more!
